Give the Lemo a chance for a little bit. The Billow leaks. I thought the same thing about my Lemo but after you get used to it the airflow is nice and the flavor kicks the Atlantis in the jewels
Whereas you will get used to the tighter draw, like I did coming from a Mutation X, it can be modded. I'm going to drill out my drop once I figure out which way I want to drill the centerpost holes under the deck. There's alot of surface area down there, providing options, causing me to hem-n-haw about the best way to to so. I'm planning on also opening up the center post through the deck and the visible air holes in the base itself. Just make sure you open the juice wells to compensate for the reduction in vacuum pressure caused by lessening the force required to draw. I'll be sure to throw up the pice when I nutt up and do it

How tight can you make the airflow on the Lemo? I am thinking of picking one up but I do not like a super airy draw. Can it be closed all the way or if not, how loose is the draw at the tightest setting?
Ok I just bit the bullet and ordered a black Lemo Drop. I picked it over the Kayfun v4 and I hope I made the right choice. I opted for the Lemo instead because of the rave reviews and all the extra pieces of the Kayfun seems to make it look extra complicated and more pieces to wash and disassemble. I am not into all that.
How tight is the airflow on the smallest setting on the Lemo? I'm a little worried about how airy it is as I like mouth to lung hits and a tighter draw. Also, I notice some people are using builds where the coil isn't all squished together and they are spaced apart a little bit. Does that work better? I've built pretty much everything as a microcoil but I am wondering if the spaced out coils would work better. I can't seem to vape much these days without my throat feeling slightly sore and I don't even vape a lot.
You can completely close off the airflow if you want...not sure how you would vape it at that point though
In all seriousness, you can dial it as tight as your heart desires. Loosening on the other hand....it only opens up to the point of a single coil quasar

Since the ring on the underneath of the positive post that adjusts the draw is some what loose, place a driptip o-ring around the post, up against the bottom of the adjustment ring to hold it set where you want it.
I feel like you made the right choice. I'm a firm believer in the K.I.S.S. principle as it usualy works.
As far as the style of coil you asked? Doesnt really matter. Do both. Or neither. Its a rebuildable so its totally up to you and you get to try both to see how each one benefits your vaping style most. Give her a try! Might work for you...might not

Concerning your sore throat, you can find out if vaping is the culprit by reducing the PG level in your Joose, lay off the citrus flavors, and hit a cooler vape. For a cheap bottle of one of the smoothest Super-Max VG jooses I've had to date (PG allergy here so I've tried ALOT), get this or something similar: Premium Hand-Crafted Madagascar Vanilla E-Liquid Low Prices - Highest Quality | Up N Vape e-liquids & Vaping
Hey folks! How often do you guys tend to replace your wicks? I've had the same wick in mine for only three days and it's all ready pretty gunked up and nasty already. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if you need to just rewick frequently.
There actualy IS a universal answer to this question; however, it cannot be answered in units of time. The easiest way to know when its time to change your coils is thus: When there's an earthy, dirty taste to the vape (this will also irritate my throat), and/or the juice starts to become discolored from the ammount of carmelized sugars on the coil/wick, and the vapor production drops off. Some jooses require daily rewicking, others can go for darn-near-ever it seems like. It really just depends on the juice and your vaping style.
