If it ain't working, take a sledge hammer to the damn thing. You bought the wrong tank.

Know the difference in some vapers and a puppy?
A puppy will eventually stop whining.
Willie, it was not meant that way at all. I was thinking of saying that you made some very good posts. I might have missed something but I don't think I saw you altering the lemo all that much. Was mostly about how you built and wicking and all that. I just think Lemo is great and you said you were going for flavor and all. I just think if it needs all this changing stuff, it just might not be right for some people. I really think the Lemo is probably the best tank built as of yet.
Edit: I won't be using nickel but I plan on trying your wicking method the next time I need to open mine up.
Is the Lemo really not that good on a tighter airflow setting? Any reason why? I would assume that the option of being able to adjust the airflow means that it SHOULD accommodate both settings fairly well... but I don't know. Is there no way to make it hit 'better' on a tighter setting? I know one of the main perks of the Lemo for everyone is the wider airflow. I guess for the clouds and stuff. I hope I can make it work to my liking. I ordered one on ebay and it hasn't shipped yet and I've considered cancelling it however, I wouldn't know what to get in its place. I suppose a Kayfun 4 or an Erlkonigin? I do like the smaller capacity of the Lemo though.

Changing and modding is part of the hobby. Dont like it, you welcome to ignore it.
What the max wattage I can safely go up with the stock 1.2ohm coil with Japanese cotton?? I'm at 22 wattage and I have got no dry hits yet. Inside or outside. I have tried it at 25 wattage and it feels no different vs 22 wattage. But outside (cold and windy these days) at 25W i get burnt hits every other draw.
I would like to try 30W and not get dry hits. Do i need a 1.0 ohm coil??
Not a big big fan of sub ohming, but i might try 0.8 ohm coil on the Lemo drop. I'm guessing I will be able to do 30W but will i still get dry hits bc the Japanese cotton won't be able to absorb the liquid fast enough??
I think we need a bit more information. Why do you want to run higher watts? Bigger clouds? More flavor?
I guess I'm asking is that I really think watts are a solution (something to adjust) to fix a problem. Seems like you're trying to make them the problem...
Personally, I'm pretty darn happy under 20 watts with a 0.15 nickel coil. More watts gives me a hotter vape, but also drains the battery faster and really doesn't improve flavor at all.

I dont understand the reason behind your constant line of questioning.
Where are you getting this information??
What constant line of questioning? I'm here discussing the Lemo like everyone else. I'm getting the information from what others have posted here. You say that closing off most of the air would defeat the purpose of the Lemo, since most people LIKE the wide airflow. Of course, I wouldn't close it all the way, but I would like to make it tight enough where I can do a mouth to lung hit that isn't too airy. I understand that the Lemo performs better with the air open all or almost all the way. Since I want it closed off more, it would diminish the quality of the vape?
why are you guys fighting for?
Kyi , its a tough question bc it becomes a matter of personal preference (there is no "optimal" airflow setting). Some think the more airy it is, the more vapor and flavor. Some say the less airy the more flavor. Like what I'm experimenting with. And i'm finding i like the airhole open fully even though if its less airy the flavor is bolder. But the after taste is not what I really like.
Just close it up a bit and try vaping on it for a good couple of hours (like not chain vaping, unless thats what you like to do). Then try opening it up all the way and test it out. See what you prefer (maybe it's something in between). Forget what others are doing imo
My assumption is that since it's so cold out your juice is becoming more viscous and therefore not wicking properly. That would contribute to your dry hits. Change your wattages in a controlled indoor environment to find your sweet spot. What the max wattage I can safely go up with the stock 1.2ohm coil with Japanese cotton?? I'm doing lung hits with my Lemo, yes. I have a Nautilus Mini and an iClear30s that I do mouth to lung with. Atlantis is obviously a lung hit, as are my drippers. if you prefer the mouth to lung hits, the Lemo is more than capable. I put the airflow about halfway open and still got a restrictive mouth to lung. Closing it more would restrict it further, possibly close to what you like. You will still get good flavor but that's all dependent on your build obviously. Close the Lemo all the way, twist the ring just a touch to give you a little bit of airflow, and enjoy those mouth to lung hits. The Lemo is really versatile and is a great RTA tailored to multiple types of vapers. You guys are doing lung hits I assume? I know its all preference, just wondering if anyone else liked using it with a more closed air setting and how it vapes. Guess the only way to find out for sure is to try it myself. I'll fiddle with it when I receive it. I just can't do lung hits... or rather, I prefer mouth to lung hits. If it can close all the way, then I'm sure I will find a happy medium for my personal taste. I just thought that IF I don't use the airy/open draw like everyone else, it will not vape "as good" or at its full potential or whatever. Even with my Kayfuns, which most people tend to say that it doesn't have enough airflow, I have it slightly closed off without the airflow screw out all the way. For me, it's not really about the flavor with the airflow closed or open, its just about the type of hit I like which is not super airy.
