Reporting the results of a blend I mixed tonight:
For one, I remixed that Vanilla/Black Honey, because I thought it to be pretty good before I added the raisin, lol. This time, I added a drop of ethyl maltol, to round it off. Will allow it time to bake, so to speak.
Now the blend, I decided to go a little different and throw a little of this, and a little of that. It's a tobacco blend:
3% <TFA> Black Honey tobacco (I'm starting to like this guy), 3% <SM> English tobacco (First shot with this one), 1% Ethyl Maltol, and 1 drop of <LA> Chocolate (just for fun). Mixed a 5 milliliter sample @ 100% vg (minus any pg in the flavorings) 12mg (irrelevant I suppose, but, why not).
Okay, because I haven't tried the English before, I decided to go equal on the tobacco flavorings to see which one would dominate the other, and/or, to see if I needed to tweak it one way or the other. I have read that Seedman Tobacco flavorings are added to compliment juices, well, this is the other way around.
The Black Honey is definitely the compliment to the forerunner, English tobacco, and I dare say, it's working splendid. If you haven't had either of the tobaccos before:
Black Honey: Robust, earthy, honey seems to come with age.
English: Tropical-esque, wanna say... pina colada-ish (which normally, is definitely not my bag, baby).
As previously said, the English is definitely up front, but, the Black has got its back. Imagine a smooth island theme, but not overly sweet (even with the EM), and I contribute this to the robust Black balancing it to a light, and once again, smooth flavor.
I am enjoying this, much more than I could have anticipated. I am curious to see how it turns within the next few days, and as always, I will keep updating my results.
Anyways, just sharing.
Anyone else have a similar blend, or results?
