It's just awesome, but I'd like to see it w/ two batts for longer batt life, never could stand those 10440's. =\ But it's not my mod...so there ya go LOL! You did great, it "rocks"!

Thanks B! I could have gone with 2 batts, decided I would try one plus a spare carto. Of course, could always re-mod for double batts. OR .. heck, it was only a buck, could always get another in a diff color

Thanks .. but that would disable the radio volume control .. it's electronic scanning tuning, the knob is volume

hmm... fixed volume/vari voltage mod? just an idea ... one crafty man. what do you do with all these mods besides vape? you must be able to set one down, walk anywhere in your house, and still have one in arms reach

That's what I was thinking. He must be up to about 50 (overstating of course) battery mods judging from here and madvapes! Just kidding. Pretty cool though, I might have to make a trip to the dollar store as I have 4 or 5 10440's laying arround. I might even be able to put one of these little USB charging circuits I have in there seeing as how they are a little less than half as long and about as wide as a 10440. Great job!

Hey Korndogg ... tell me more about a tiny USB charging circuit of which you spake .. the ones I have read about on MV site (the 510 USB chargers) have a board that's about 20x30mm .. shorter but twice the width of a 10440 .. it would take up quite a bit of real estate in a compact mod such as this.

Also, I have been getting bugged by the Admin on another new forum for a family photo of mods. Guess I will have to get out the old camera and get a shot.

It is a USB charger for a Freedom Smokeless brand E-cig that my brother bought at a gas station in Wyoming. I took it apart and was pleasently surprised to see that the board was only about 3/4 the width of the USB connector. I think I am going to buy some more of the kits just for the chargers. The cartomizers that came with it are pretty good too, just have to make a mod for the battery as it comes with those cheap auto batteries.

10440s take about 30 minutes to charge on a Pila? And you charge 2 of them at a time=win.
