Glad to see other people are having better luck than I did...maybe I'm just spoiled by the great airflow and flavor I get from my lemo. Any suggestions regarding wicking and leak prevention?

I'd guess a bit more cotton/maybe some into the holes. Definitely gotta tug lightly on it as well, since the main airhole is soooo tiny. Takes some time getting used to vs airy atties for sure.

anybody have some calipers handy? the listed width of the mini is 16.5mm. I want to confirm that is true and it's 16.5mm at the widest point. I happen to have a microstick that will fit atomizers 16.5mm and smaller. just wondering if it'll fit because it might be the best option for the microstick.

Mines running 16.48 to 16.54 on the main body and up to 16.68 on the AFC knurl. Hope this helps.

I always wanted to see that, it was the first mod I thought about when I saw this come out..very cool, hope it fits!

Mini Fogger mod time: Without modifications this tank was unvapable for me...I like them airy!

More air!

Less metal = more air

Not exactly a direct path to the coil, but the chamber is so tiny it doesn't seem to matter

This little tank is the best tasting vape I've ever had, including my drippers! Coil is 28awg x 2.2mm @ 1.4ohms, vaping at 20watts regulated, and of course, wicked with Rayon

Best tasting vape ever! I'm convinced it's the itty-bitty little chamber in this thing: The Vape is super rich tasting. It's only a single coil, so the vape production isn't nearly as thick as my other tanks. But what it lacks in vapor, it more than makes up for in flavor.

Keep in mind, I like an airy draw at 20+ watts, so YMMV

Nice modification. Please report back if enlarging the juice channels causes any flooding. Seems like that modification alone may improve this atty for some.

I'm glad to hear your judgement of this atty. I've been looking for a rebuildable with a small atomization chamber for quite a while, and recently found this one. I agree with your assessment of the superiority of small atomization chambers, though I've not tried this rebuildable, yet. I just got a couple of these in the mail, and hope to try one this weekend.

On the subject of small chambers: I've never been able to stand atties with large ones, or ones with side air intakes. While some swear by the flavor that such atties bring, my sensitive airways always get irritated due to sub-par airflow, though I've been able to improve most of them with (sometimes extensive) modifications. It's a shame that carefully rebuilt eVod heads beat an RBA, but that's the case with the few that I've bought, at least for my tastes.

No, no flooding with normal usage. I had it flood a couple of times when I was filling, but I think that was because I had the wick-tails trimmed too much.(I never have been a fan of top fill tanks like these) I re-wicked with a little more Rayon on the deck, and that seemed to fix it. I'm not sure the chamber needed to be modified the way I did it, but I didn't think it would hurt. There was probably enough room for juice to get into the chamber, I just thought it would make it easier for the air bubbles to get out and pressure to normalize, sorta speak. (yeah, I know, that sounds kinda silly)

One thing is for sure, this is the best out-and-about vape I've had to date. Stealthy, flavorful, satisfying, and cheap! If it held another ml of juice it would be absolutely perfect.

Thanks, and good to hear. From my experience, loosening the draw as you did with the extra air hole would reduce the chance of flooding, since it develops less negative pressure in the chamber.

I've seen a few complaints about poor juice feed on these, many of which seemed to be related to not pushing the bottom glass seal o-ring down enough when assembling. Others seemed to get better results after adjusting the wick tails a bit. I'd guess than enlarging the juice channels a bit could be a good option for some, though I'd be conservative about how much to do so, if the air draw is left tight.

Wow, the work they were doing on this site today made us look like a bunch of dumbies, LOL!

Yeah, and I was a bit surprised that it double posted my last reply about 3 hours before the comment that I quoted! :D Ah, well.

Anyway, I got around to washing and building my Mini Fogger about an hour ago. I have to say that this seems to work well, so far. Not quite as smooth as my rebuilt eVod heads, but way better than any of the large chamber models that I've tried, and I'm sure that it'll improve with subsequent builds.

I set the airflow to reveal about the lower half of the holes, and find the draw a bit airy for me, but I'm used to somewhat tight draws. I vape unflavored VG through Koga cotton, and find that the natural VG sweetness comes through a bit more than with my eVod builds. One of these days, I'll get around to trying some good rayon, which will likely improve it more.

I didn't get the coil or wick quite as nice as I'd have liked, but decided to go with it for now, so I know I can improve those. I had a couple of unruly outer turns on the horizontal micro coil that I made, and cut the wick tails too short, so had to stuff a bit more along side them to get them down to the feed channels. It works nicely, though, and I'll be trying a few different types of builds in it as I get a chance to.

Since I don't use caustic liquids, I think I'd actually prefer a polycarbonate tank with a thinner wall, as this thing does trap the air bubbles for short periods between the chamber and the glass. Plus, that would increase the liquid capacity. It does not seem to slow the wicking at my conservative wattage, though.

I give it a big thumbs up for best airflow dynamics that I've found in a rebuildable. My only gripe is having to fill with a needle. I've never liked that, though it's still common. I'm sure that I'll get much use out of two of these, though. :)

Just wanted to give my final update on this device:
I ended up giving it to my friend, he's expressed some interest in rebuildables lately and since I got my second Eleaf Lemo RTA, I basically never use it. Like myself he was a long time cig smoker, I turned him on to vaping about two months ago, I gave him my old ego twist battery along with so clearos and a little liquid to get him started and he was off the analogs in a week and a half.
At first I was a little hesitant giving him this device because I had so many problems with it and since he has no experience with rebuildables I didn't want to give him something that was a pain to use. Besides the sub-par and the leaking, my biggest problem with the device was I wasn't getting very good flavor, even when I turned the voltage/wattage way down on my istick the vape was still too hot for my taste, it borderlined taste burnt sometimes. Surprisingly, this thing actually worked a lot better on my friend ego twist compared to my istick, I didn't get a hot/burnt vape at all on the ego. I've read on this forum that the istick actually puts out more power that what it displays, so I'm thinking that this device actually works better on a simpler, "weaker" battery.
All things considered, if the threads and o-rings fit better and it didn't leak everytime it was filled, this device would be just about perfect for an ego style battery. I wouldn't say I regret buying this device, the way I look at, the only way to find out if you like something it to try out it.

    No you can't
Looking to retire my Protanks. I'll be getting one of these.

Just got it within the hour. Can't wait to try it out.

    Edited

Filling anything bigger then 1.5 mm syringe won't fit in to the holes on top.

Running it with 2.0 coil CVS cotton as wick at 8 watts on a DNA 30.
    70% PG / 30% VG

No leaking wide open AFC. Nice clouds and good flavor.
After every puff I can see the air bubbles raising.

I'm very happy so far. Out of 1 to 10, I'll give it a 9+ won't give 10 because nothing deserves that.

Best tank I ever had on my old Johnson Creek Vea batteries that I have laying around, little less clouds and slightly less flavor but great all the same just.

Well worth the $20.96 it cost me.

    Quick update.

Running my fogger mini on my Vamo V5 with one 18350 battery working good. I have no complaints with this tank. It won't take the place of a larger dual coil atomizer though without a double its the best single coil I have used so far and I'm using less juice with it.

Haven't had any leaking or flooding problems.

I've had mine for a couple of days and I'm enjoying it. I'm surprised however with the amount of airflow (or lack thereof) it offers, and the airflow control could certainly be improved but after removing the ring it performs much better so I just leave it off. My current build is 30 gauge Kanthal at 2mm with organic Japanese cotton, and it chain-vapes fine with high VG juice...no flow/wicking issues with 80% VG. No leaks except for once when I filled it to the rim and did not screw the cap on right away. It's built solid, the glass tank is thick, and it appears to have slightly more room around the base of the chimney compared to the Kayfun Mini for example. Like others have said, the fill hole could/should be larger but so far I'm satisfied with the $26.95 price I paid...it performs well on my new Cloupor Mini.
