I have been experimenting with AP also. I agree that it is very strong. I think I started with 1 drop per 5 ml and I could taste it. When I doubled this it was too much.
I would really love to hear how you feel about it. I tried EM, and it just wasn't "it" for me. I know we all have individual tastes, but am curious to hear from others. I feel like maybe I should try EM again because of this thread, so I would love to hear from someone who has tried both. DIY is a lonely hobby sometimes.
So far I haven't used the EM as a sweetner, just a very small amount of it as an enhancer. One drop per 5ml seems to bring out the flavors in the few tobacco mixes I've made up. I like it & am really looking forward to trying the AP too.
The AP can help, depending on what you are looking for; less than 1% will do it fine. It has a smell and taste of fritos, almost a greasy corn chip scent, and it is very easy to add too much. I tried even the tiniest amounts for a crust additive, no go, even with steeping. For tobacco flavors, I have heard AP does do better.
I just tried the AP. I had mixed up a rather large bottle of a MISTAKE. I had tried using a graham cracker flavor to save it & it helped, but still wasn't very good. I added 1 drop/ml of the AP & abra-cadabra!! The AP brought out the g-cracker more to the front & added just enough of a nutty sort of flavor that not only is this new mix 'good', it might be my favorite mix yet. Yeah, I really like these enhancer add-ins so far. A LOT!! This forum ROCKS!!!

I have been trying to figure out what the smell and taste was of the best tobac vape I've had. Its a great nutty tobac but can not figure it out. Its a pre made juice from liberty flights. - USA premium line- smooth tobacco. The flavor is out of this world to me. I think AP is what I have been missing. Can't wait to try some.. And some em too.

Marshmallow does it for me, too. I just got some cotton candy, but haven't tried it yet.
Excellent news! Glad I was able to mention that as a "missing ingredient". I don't even remember where I heard about it, or why I tried it but my juice isn't the same without it. I am so happy YOU are happy!
I use hazelnut in all my tobac mixes. For sure an excellent vape . Every day , fart 3-4% +
