It just seems like the perfect product for me.

-No leaking
-Good battery capacity
-VV available, with protection, stabilised voltage and all that.
-Can take a punch and more
-Room for plenty juice
-rba (is there options beyond silica wicks?)
-Handy like a pack of cigs

And more

amirite?

I'm new, but know there will be a day when the hobby aspect fades, and something really practical will rule for the least amount of hassle.

So, should I buy a Reo? :p

LOL! I think you already know the answer to that, based on what you've said!

IMO, they're the very best there is for vaping, hands down. And I started with the " pen style", went to the eGos and decided to try the Reos.

I'm very particular, but for me,once you get a Reo you'll never want anything else...

except one or more Reos!

P.S. There's many different wicks for the rebuildables... bamboo thread, embroidery thread, s.s. mesh, cheesecloth, etc.

To answer the question about non-silica RBA: Yes, you can use SS or ceramic wick in our RBAs - they are versatile enough.
But SS mesh doesn't have the holding capacity of real wick materials and the wick dooesn't sit in a reservoir of juice, so you will have to feed more often to keep the coil wet.

I have seen hybrid wick setups with silica in a SS mesh roll that work well, but I prefer the pure silica myself - a lot less fiddly and more consistent.

Well, it's the first mod that made me settle down and stop dissecting copper tubing, flashlights and altoids tins. That should stand for something :) So my suggestion is, if you can afford a reo, go for it, they're awesome. Also, if you feel like waiting a bit, and want a mechanical mod, Reo Mini 2.1 is supposed to be coming very soon -- 18490 mechanical that can take most RBAs without having to modify it.

As far as options beyond silica wicks, I use cotton and love it. Some people even managed to put SS wicks in all kinds of bottom feeding RBAs and claim it works. I tried, tasted disgusting. But I just don't like SS wicks, so there's a small chance it's just me :)

There's a thread about wicks on the Reo forum. There's tons of useful info there, completed with pretty pictures.

Ha, you saw right through me, and yeah my research led me right here, I can't see any other AVP's that can fit with my requirements?

Aha, thanks! I'll look into that!

So, I don't see something called a Reomizer on the website, is this a forum nickname for the RBA he sells or is it out of stock?
Or should I go straight for the best RBA you guys use, as far I can se the ERA is co-op only and may not be for me here in Norway.
I have some experience making coils for Genesis RBA's , and I'm pretty patient, so I should do fine with Reo RBA's.

Sorry for all the questions, but I want to do this right... :)

Here is the direct link to the Reomizer, just called the bottom feed rebuildable atomizer on the site.

If you are ordering a REO, the VV one matches up well with the rebuildable because you don't have to worry as much about resistance on the coil since you can adjust the voltage. Makes life easier.

Since you are so far away from Rob, I'd order the spare parts, extra spring, bottle top/tube, etc. While I still have original springs and tubes in almost 2 year old REOS, I attribute that to the fact I have spares around.

100% cotton embroidery thread/yarn works great as a wick, cheap, great tasting, and easy. THey burn up faster than silica if you screw up and forget to feed enough juice in, but you can rethread a new one through the coil in seconds, so no big deal.

Ya nailed it right out of the gate there - handy like a pack of cigs. I am above all things a lazy, lazy man and the REO gives me a 'fuss with it once daily' vape that takes no more conscious effort to get me through the next 23 hours and 55 minutes. For me the REO ended the modquest.

Ok guys and girls, I have a silver/black VV Reo and Reomizer coming my way, wish me luck!
I spent a little(way) more than I really could afford, but it's too late now. :)

Blix, do a little arithmitic on how soon you would spend that same amount of money on cigs in a month or so...and you'll realize that you got off cheap, lol.

Not to mention the good you're doing your lungs and health in general...that's priceless:)

It seems like a lot of money, but the Grand I bought over 2 years ago (and have used every day since) has cost me a little over 17 cents per day. That's about the price of half of a cigarette. Pretty good bargain if you ask me ;-)

Congrats. I hope it gets over there quickly, waiting for a REO is hard.

Forget cigarette savings, that Reomizer will save enough in atomizers to pay for that VV Reo in no time.

Exactly, the best vape without any fuzz. I'm all over this vaping hobby now, but know there will come a day when I just want something that works, day out and day in.

Smoking did cost me $450 a month with the prices here, the numbers will look very good sometime in March haha.

Yeah it will! :) I ordered a atomizer to go with it as well, and will probably get a few more to have as backup, they're small and handy. :)
