For cleaning I've only rinsed out, shook, and let dry overnight.
Is it easy to disassemble so that you can get at the coil and wicks to do a more intense cleaning and dry burn?

One thing I love about the CE3’s is the ease of disassembly to get the gunk off the coils. Eventually any atomizer will gunk up and ease of cleaning is a plus.

The seal for the top is an O ring that's attached to the mouthpiece similar to the other bigger clearos. Once that off the center posts sticks up above the height of the outer tube and is open. No inner seal as far as I can tell like the ce3's.

Does that center post pull out like with the CE3's to expose the coil / wick?
Being able to get to the coil is critical in cleaning or else the buildup of gunk will soon degrade performance.

Well I got my Nanos this morning, thanks to running into my Mail Lady at the country store at 5am while out picking up cream for my coffee. Anyway she made a special trip to my house at 8:30 with my Vape mail in hand and I ripped it open and filled both up. Paying attention to posts on one of the three threads with Nano reviews I quickly put the tips back on as fast as my old hands will move this early in the morning and they both leaked like a sieve. I put SI Joe in one and a 50/50 DIY Coffee in the other. I left them sitting on a paper towel for about 15 minutes and they both leaked all the way down to the holes that go to the wick/coil and stopped. I decided to fill them again and they didn't leak a drop??? I wiped them off and checked for leaks and fond both to be dry. Just to be sure I didn't get a mouthful of juice I gently ran a pipe cleaner up from the bottom and down from the tip and both were flooded big time but not leaking anymore. I put one on a X2 auto and the other on a X2 Manual. Both worked great after a few puffs and I didn't notice any real difference in taste compared to my clearos filled with the same juices. I have vaped the coffee one down to the holes and am working on the Joe as I type. I have no Idea why they leaked and even less why they stopped but they produce good vapor and have an easy draw so I consider them keepers but I won't be ditching my clearos at least until the T-3s are out and depending on how they preform. Since these seem to be prone to leaking I wouldn't recommend them to a beginner because it's a lot to deal with if you don't have pipe cleaners, tissues and patience. I just hope the T-3s are the answer because I love the Clearos but if they are going to be discontinued I might have to look at using an adapter with some 510 tanks. I'll let you know how it goes when I refill them...

Yeah, I would be interested to hear if they leak when you refill again. I need to put pipe cleaners on my shopping list.

I haven't had any trouble with my Nano but I still have 4 in the packages. I have a bunch of flavors going now in clearos, CE3's and cartos already. I am saving filling the rest of my Nanos until I am ready to stock up for the vacation.

Opened and filled nano #5 as I was leaving for work. Got into work and it had leaked down to where the center tube widens. I wiped it off and vaped on it a little. It's sitting on my desk right now. Once I get out of the meeting I'm in I'll check for a puddle.
This is not encouraging :(

Maybe I am just lucky, but I have filled and refilled 4 of them so far without a drop of leakage. Don't think I am doing anything special, just tilting the nano and dropping the drops onto the center post to fill. Don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I have never filled it all the way to the top of the plastic, usually about 80%.

Like I posted elsewhere, these are cleaner to me than the clearo's. When I would fill those, liquid would get on the threads. So when I screwed the top back on often a drop or two would squeeze out.

And I always felt the CE3's were messy, with burping the air out of the needles, and squirting the excess fluid back into the bottle. Not to mention the drips I would get trying to draw the liquid out of the bottles in the first place.

My review: This is stupid long

So, I decided to do a real “apples to apples” comparison with the Nano and CE3. I got my order in the mail today at the same time I got about 8 different flavors. I thought it would be good to use a flavor that I hadn’t tried yet in both to see a comparison. I would have run it against a clearo but the only one I had is in serious need of a dry burn. I did nothing to the Nano other than fill it and let it sit for a half hour; I don’t do anything special to my CE3s any longer and vape through the primer.
Visually, the Nano looks better constructed than the CE3. I think this has been noted several times already. The metal looks more polished, the plastic doesn’t looks as cloudy and overall, it just looks better. The first thing that I personally thought while looking at it was, “wow, the air hole is HUGE!” The diameter of the air hole on the Nano appears to me to be slightly larger than the clearo. It looks pretty nice on both the 78mm and the X2. What I did notice is that the polish or finish on the metal of the X2 matches up pretty well with the bottom of the Nano. The CE3 looks dull as compared. There is a noticeable size difference between the CE3 and the Nano if you don’t use any tips on the CE3 but the CE3 with the small rubber tip that comes with the pack is taller than the Nano. It isn’t a deal breaker for me, I don’t keep anything together when I travel except the one I am using and that is usually in my dress shirt front pocket or in my car door and my carrying case is deep enough to still hold these with no issue.

I filled the CE3 and the Nano at the same time. The post in the Nano is a bear and it does make it awkward to fill at first. I was also playing the Jeopardy wait music in my head, knowing that you only have 30 seconds to put the tip back on. I know that these are syringe-less and it is one of the reasons that I wanted one of these, not to look like an addict (people at my work and friends at home have all made some comment about the syringe lying around). I think I filled both the CE3 and the Nano in about the same time. With the sands of the hourglass falling away, I only ended up filling it a little more than halfway up and I can see where putting the syringe out may actually be quicker when I am at home and only dripping it in when people are watching. That way I can quickly squeeze the juice in without worrying that I am taking too long and have it leak.

I vaped both of these in order of 78mm, X2 900 auto and X2 900 manual. To be scientific, I did three pulls on each in order as above. The flavor was Vape Dudes Buttery Nipple (and unless that flavor gets better after steeping, it was just okay but I digress). I thought with an air hole that large that the draw would be airy but it was actually tighter on the Nano than the CE3. The vapor production seemed to be about the same; I didn’t really see a notable difference between the two. I only opened one Nano and as I said earlier, I only let it sit for a half hour. All I got from the Nano was a burnt taste or a dog food-ish flavor. I tried to vape through it a little (on the auto X2) and I did get one draw in the middle of everything that was just air. After a few long draws, the burnt taste went away but then I just got a muted flavor. I did read that people weren’t seeing condensation on their battery with these. I actually did get condensation on my batteries during the experiment. Now, I pull on these like I smoked – long, deep pulls. The connection near the battery and the tip did get warm after some “power vaping” as well. I kept going with the drags until I got a headache and decided to hold off for a bit. No leaks for me yet……….

Verdict so far? Well, after some more vaping, the taste is still pretty gross and it hasn’t went away yet. I haven’t been down to the holes yet so I have a bit more to do. At this point, I am just going to use the one I opened and stock the remaining ones until I have a few days with this. In the meantime, I am just going to keep my usual rotation (CE3s when I am not at home and clearos at home). I haven’t had any major leaks like the ones I have seen mentioned here but if the one I am using doesn’t improve after a cleaning and a refill; I will likely wait and try one (just one next time) of the Nano once SI fixing whatever issues they are working on. I will say this though, from just the appearance of the construction between the two, $2 for a CE3 and $4 for the Nano is still debatable to me right now. On one hand, cheaper is not always better and I would rather have a better made product that works than spotty reliability. If you buy these in 10 or better and the Nano is equal to the CE3, it is a steal. I am not going to pass final judgment right this second; I will give it a few days but if the trend continues…………
