Nanos (Nanoes?) just arrived! I found the filling a bit challenging and finally resorted to using a syringe - but I'm liking so far ;-)
It's just my luck that I get a bad one; I get bad everything. It is getting a bit better as I go and I am sure that someone is going to devise the best way to get these to work..........but soaking it for a half hour wasnt long enough OR they are just going to suck with the first use.
I wanted to update on my leaker. I did refill it yesterday afternoon after letting it dry since the night before. It still leaks! Right now I think the problem is that it has a hairline crack in the tube. I'm going to take it to work where I have a amgnifying glass this evening and see if I can verify that. (My eyes aren't the best without help). If so, I don't know how I cracked it. Maybe rattling around in the case with my other PV's. My ssecond and third nanos are doing great other than the third one having a funky taste with my favorite juice.
I was able to find the hairline cracks in the CE's by holding them up to the light, sideways, and rotating them. The cracks would reflect the light differently than the rest of the tube.
EDIT: empty tubes BTW.

I know that there are multiple threads running on the whole "Nano" subject but what does everyone think about having a running list of who has them, what their issues are out of how many they bought? I would be pretty interested to get a tally of how many purchased, how many are satisfied and how many are having issues and what issue specifically.........................maybe even a comparison to the CE3.
It would help me personally to know if I am having issues and that is the minority or the majority.

I have seen other forums that have had a polling feature. This is what we need here. Perhaps a moderator will see this and create a poll with the various issues that people could vote on. Otherwise we will have to jump between the threads dealing with this for ourselves.

What drummerskey has started is a thread with unlimited individual posts. Granted, he has asked for 3 things but I'd be willing to bet it will grow and there WILL BE opinions, not just issues. Yet another thread to reference. Better than nothing if we can at least get everything in one place at least!

I am an idiot............especially with forums. I thought that it would be helpful the way it is but I would glady delete it and use someone elses. I just thought with 4 running threads that it needed to be separate. I keep having to bounce between 4 threads to get people's take.

UPDATE: I was out on the Bike all day so not wanting to take any chances I left both Nanos sitting on a paper towel and they didn't leak another drop. I vaped the 50/50 coffee and refilled it and so far no leaks. I will finish off the other one with the 80/20 Joe and refill it later but it would appear they only leak when they are dry/new, who knows. I'm quite happy with the way they Vape but they just don't hold enough for me and filling up a tank while out riding my motorcycle is a PITA. I will continue to use them at home until they need a cleaning and we will see how it goes from there. I think they are a big improvement over the Ce3 but I can't wait for the T-3 to be available.
I am not voting just yet......I dont think that 5 hours with it is enough to form an opinion or give a final vote. It wouldnt be fair to people who use it to make a decision or to SI. If the thread is still going, I will vote tomorrow.

I would open another one to try that and see if this one is just bad but I am thinking about sending back what is unopened if this is what it will be like. I can't place the taste but it is somewhere between burnt, metallic and poo.
What I do know is that I got pretty much to the bottom and this just tastes nasty..........I am going to give it a wash and try a juice that I have tried before and match that up with a CE3 for comparison. I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to be the "bad huy" and suggest it. Guess I'm a woos.
Wouldn't you wanna make sure they're working, prepped/primed/broken in and ready to go? I'd hate to find that stuff out away from home...
If you test them and not use them, you won't crud up the coil, and PG takes forever to evaporate.
