I finally tried the aromatics from Ahlusion. I bought DevilDog, Peach tobacco, and Cherry tobacco. Man these are some great juices. I think that devildog is the most "tobacco tasting" juice I have tried to date. Awesome.
I previously tried a couple of non aromatic juices from them, and didn't care for them. House blend and smooth criminal. I guess they just weren't for me. But the others are getting reordered in bigger bottles next week.

Try Smooth Criminal after eight weeks and see if you still feel that way.

I wouldn't even want to be near a kangaroo, much less mess with one. Although I am curious about how they taste. They're kind of weird when you think about it. They're really muscular, too.

Dan, what juice delivery system are you using? You listed some very distinctive juices as nearly identical and lacking in flavor. The flavors in the juices you mentioned are considered by most to be quite distinctive and rather bold. Perhaps you are not getting the flavor through your device(s) or maybe having a bad taste bud day/week?
ProVari, Kanger's ProTanks, T3, ViviNova, but my favorite is a ProTank. I have ordered Kayfun 3.1 ES recently and still waiting for it.

In my opinion, there is a huge difference between two groups of juices I have mentioned. One has pipe tobacco flavor, the other one does not. But within each group, there is very little difference. Sure, if I vape one after the other, I can tell the difference, but it is as if they were all made by the same company that just uses two different bases. One base is pipe tobacco, the other one is something they call tobacco with no tobacco flavor. The flavor variations within each group/base are mild and not memorable, in my opinion.

Some may think differently, but those JDSs are not IMO ideal for picking up true flavor. Of course some will disagree, but that is what I have found. I believe one day you'll find everything you're looking for though.

You should try just a regular, plain jane 510 bridgeless atomizer. I think the tanks and clearos are muting the flavor.

Also, what is your experience with tobacco prior to vaping?

For the record, I have only ever seen live kangaroos once in ten years of living here. The rest of the time it has been in the form of roadkill, pet food, and shoes. ;)

Mr Scarf loathes kangaroos. They are infamous among motorcyclists for causing serious and sometimes fatal accidents.

I'm going to guess that y'all have Kangaroo crossings as opposed to Deer crossings out there?!

I always liked my NETs just fine in a Vivi Nova. I didn't really understand why people said the flavor was muted till I tried a Genesis style atty. Then I understood.

This is one big reason I have not had a real urge to move to rebuildables. I'm afraid it would ruin my no frills setup. I'm quite happy with my simple BCC clearos and inexpensive swappable heads.

Dan I would like to ask you a serious question. Are you still smoking analogs? That's the only way I can envision anyone finding those juices 'low on tobacco' or lacking in strength. When I was vacillating between analogs and vaping I found it took me time to re-adjust to vaping. My tastes buds were not sensitive due to smoking real cigarettes and e-liquids didn't compare to the 'real thing'. After a while my taste buds adjusted.

By the way, when I did break my quit on analogs and go back to them after a sustained vaping period I found real cigarettes to taste awful, ashy, acrid and strong (as much as I liked it).

You have only been on this site since April 2013 and have relatively few posts. I am going to take a wild guess and say that the reason e-liquids, particularly those which a full time vapor finds containing ample tobacco flavour and plenty of strength, would taste less than satisfactory as a tobacco substitute, is that you are still smoking real cigarettes.

Am I wrong?

I just tried Devil Dog and Blue Grass Burley. Do they need to steep? Devil Dog has real tobacco (pipe tobacco) flavor, which is great, but I wish it would have been stronger. Blue Grass Burley, noticeable sweetness on the inhale and an interesting mild flavor on the exhale with a hint of fresh grass, but very mild to nonexistent tobacco flavor. Both juices are pretty dark. Plenty of vapor. Throat hit is okay, but not as strong as Halo's tobaccos. Do they get stronger/more flavorful with time or is this it? Thanks.

Have you tried Goodejuice yet? I think it might do the trick for you.

By the way, I think these posts should be in the Natural Tobacco thread and not here.

Perhaps :D but to me, Want2Vape's London has a stronger tobacco flavor than Devil Dog, but it is one dimensional.
