@sonicdsl -- since you're here and all... I was wondering if there is a way to set the default in the search box to "most recent" or something. When I'm in a thread and want to search for a particular thing, the search results come up in some random order, so it's hard to find the most recent post about a subject. I see that I can do that in advanced search, but then I have to go find that particular thread in the drop down menu.
I have done a search of "search" in the xenforo tips & tricks thread, but didn't see an answer.
Any thoughts?

Heya Henry Etta...
The simple search automatically does a "Most Relevant" result. I'm not aware of any setting to change that in your user preferences. The only thing I've figured out so far is a work-around. Do a simple search like you mentioned (put the word in the search box and check this thread only), then when you get the mixed up results click "Search Again" at the top right. That will take you to an advanced search with the thread already filled in. :) Check Most Recent at the bottom and click Search to get the search in chronological order.

Hope this helps! :)

It's best I bite my tongue and not say anything. I absolutely love the new format.

That'll work for now, thanks!

Well... I just ran out of Wakonda today after a 3-day ADV binge
Loving Strawnilla, ADV one day on that too. Lovin it :)
The Virus will have to grow on me I think, though it's the best with beer, of all I chose :D
The Cure is awesome in my Lemo2 on 30 watts!
Just started ACB today in my KFL+ on a P3, and ...
That leaves 4 I haven't tried yet (Got Cookie, Gravity, Sure Bert, Raz Cup).

So, all in all, pretty gosh darn good so far! :)

I officially love the new forums. They have rekindled me with reoville. I practically left the reo forum because of a couple people but namely one person that I loathe. Turns out the new forum, when you choose to ignore another member, they're gone ; no sign of them at all. Beforehand you'd still see them but their post would be hidden.now it's like they don't exist.

Reoville is tolerable again!!!

Even though I'm honestly more of a diehard reo fan than NT fan the community over there is nowhere close to this one. Sometimes a sloths gotta do what a sloths gotta do :) not a single person I would ever want to see gone from the NT forum tho...this forum really is the GREATEST in the whole world!!

Sloth, that's how I am with the Eleaf threads! The family is still over here in NT but over there we can talk about anything and everything without feeling like walking on eggshells. :)

While I'm sad that it's necessary, I'm happy that it works better on XF for those that need it. :)

Agreed bro. A rarity for anyone on the forums to need it I'm sure. It's just nice that it works so well when it is needed. Beyond that I'm just starting to dig the new forums all around. I love the new pm system. loveit!

I wasn't sure at first, but now I love it too! Especially that you can invite others and have a private conversation with more than one other person. Have you tried the prefix option on conversations?

Prefix option? Not sure what it is, I haven't played with options yet at all actually. Must investigate :)

A big plus I'm liking about XF is when you click on the thread title it takes you to where you left off, not the first post. Really makes it easy to catch up on a thread. Group conversations are really cool also. Multi quote is a lot better also. Change is hard, and this case it's for the better IMHO...
