The new SSOCC coil heads

just received the new SSOCC coils from kangertech. The regular 0.5ohm and the 0.15ohm nickel ones. I really have to say that these blow the original OCC coils out of the water by a long shot and they are backwards compatible with all of your Subtanks v1 and v2 versions. I really have to say that kangertech have really done a good job on these coils as I believe that they now make the Subtank mini a real contender with all of the other tanks out their now. Not only vapour but flavour is a real improvement! Good job kanger!

anyone got these coils yet and want to add anything else?

Just got mine, and seem like a vast improvement on the older coils for both flavour and airflow. However, I am having some major leakage issues in my v2 subtank. Usually happens when the level gets quite low, about level with the air holes. The coil floods, and then leaks through the air flow holes.

It did have minor leaks with the older coils from time to time, but the leaks I'm getting with the new coils are much worse. Today the whole mod, and my pocket was covered in juice after it leaked.

I absolutely love the new ssocc heads from kangertech. I got my first experience with them in November when I purchased my Kangertech NEBOX. The 0.15 ohm Ni200 are amazing.

I try to keep all my tanks at lease 1/3 full to prevent this. The negative pressure inside the tank is what keeps most of them from leaking

Anyone see the SS (Pink ring) for sale separately, domestically?

I'm finding nothing yet. Of course I got the Reds (NiChrome) weeks ago thinking they were SS.
