Received the cyclone today (thank you for posting the link, Dani) and I like it much better than the RM2. The airflow is better and much easier to build on. Found my sweet spot on wicking and coil height. Thank you Soignee, gopher and distorto for the tips!

Just happy that you are happy with it P......:vapor: It's a pretty amazing little atty.

On another note....Just waiting for the new coil winding tool to arrive. Plan on shaking it down with a couple of RWX builds in both 2 and 3mm. Thinking on a Cyclone AFC build using dual triple twisted 32g with the 2mm wick and a 28g Tiger wire single with the 3 on the Reactor. Also thinking I'll stay within the 0.6 -0.8 ohm range for both. Stay tuned for further developments....:)

You're welcome lady! The feed and drain on the cyclone is just awesome!

Distorto, do you think you could give a quick tutorial on how to use that winding tool? I watched the video, but it was kind of quick. If you don't have time, I completely understand. It just helps when you do pictures and walk me through step-by-step. But who knows? I might figure it out on my own. (haha)

For you? Sure not a problem.;) I'll post'em up once I receive mine. From my observation of the video and the fact that I am used to wrapping free hand, I can already tell that it is more than likely not all that necessary to use the wire feed hole in order to get a good wrap thus saving a bit of wire. Since it is only coming from so-cal, I'm hoping it will arrive sooner rather than later.

How often do I need to rebuild my coil? I dry burn and rewick once if not twice a day and I go through mayb 2ml a day.

That seems a bit overkill unless you're using a really dark juice. I re-wick my Reo every 2-3 days and I go through about 5mL a day in it. Been using the same coil for months.

Like speedy said everyday is a bit much for changing wicks unless you are changing flavors that don't play well together. I only rebuild coils when I feel like playing with a different build.

Yeah that's why I do it so much. Waiting for the mutation x v2 to come back in stock at 101vapes so my 2nd dripper. Still need to send my 2nd mod in repair as well.

the same thing here for me with wicking, but i think i rebuild the coil about 1 times a month or so and its cause the coil gets worn down being 30ga

When i was using the peaches and cream yarn i was rewicking daily, but have since aquired KGD and now its every 2 to 3 days

2-3 days I wish! I'm through 10 ml a day and have to dry burn 2-3 times a day! My builds are generally at .5 though twisted so they get gunky fast...

Frenilla and Strawnilla I have to re-wick every day if it's all I vape that day. I dry burn every time I re-wick. I just do standard micro coils though.
