I have read and re-read all the battery stuff I can find and understand. I am very confident that I can use a mechanical setup without fear of blowing up. I use batteries that are rated safe for subohming and I usually stay around 1.2 ohms on my builds. I was very frightened to try them at first, so I understand any concerns a person might have. The great people here have taught me the ins and outs of battery safety.
So, that all being said: I now own about 6 mech mods (got great prices at a Vape Fest ... like $5 and $10 a piece for stuff like the Nzonic and the Galileo) as well as the Reo. I found that wrapping coils was a breeze with Dante Inferno's lil jiggernaut. I can even wrap using a drill bit. They do last forever with just a little maintenance like dry burning and rewicking. I have really cut down on the cost of vaping. No heads to buy. I primarily use the Reo and my ZMax with the Kayfun. I can use the Kayfun with a mech, just haven't done it.
I believe a Reo is the best thing I have ever found for vaping. Dripping flavor without dripping. I drive a truck OTR for two weeks out of every 4 and found that my clearos and cartos just didn't hold up to the changes in altitude and barometric pressure. The Reo functions like a champ...all the time! So easy to use, so easy to build and so tasty!
If you are frightened of a Reo, keep reading and try to get comfortable. It is unbelievably wonderful. If you buy it, try it, don't like it, you can sell it for what you paid. Win - Win, right?
