Of course it is. Your finished twisted wire needs only to fit thru the post holes (unless you drill them bigger), so you might want to start with twisted 30 or 28g.

You'll easily be able to fit a coil in the gap between RM2 posts, i have a sofa in mine! Supposed to be really good flavour from twisted builds too.

RipTripper used a drill with an Allen wrench in the chuck. I've got that.

I use a paperclip in the drill, that way I don't have to worry about the wire slipping off the allen key. The key is to keep tension on the wire and start the drill slow.

I'm running a triple twisted 30 in a RM2 as we speak, 6 wraps came out to 0.6 ohm. The Radio loves it!

Ok, I got my wire twisted, coil wrapped and installed....5 ohm's....waaay too hot for me. So I'm going to take it out, wrap a single wire coil and call it good I think. But...I have to try this first!! Lol

ETA: I tried it...the flavor is WOW!!! But there's no way I could continuously vape this with it being this warm unless I drilled out the air hole. Flavor is awesome!!!

with twisted 30 ga and going with 5/64 bit to wrap on it would be about 10 wraps to get around 1.2 ohms. I like to target 7 or 8 wraps for heat up time and with twisted 30 on 5/64 bit that would be around .9 ohms.

EDIT I use this http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?si=false&s=dp&r=0.9&id=1.98374 You can think of twisted as dual coils for calculating ohms. How tight you twist will be a variable, tighter twisted equal more wire per inch.

Yay!!! 30 gauge twisted, 6 wraps on a 5/64 drill bit....1.1ohms...The Virus never tasted so good as with this build and some GCD!

Thanks so much for everyone's help!! You guys are the bomb!!!

Lynn congrats!!! You go girl!!!

Next thing you know is you'll start watching Twisted Messes vids and start building Clapton, zipper, or caterpillar coils... Seriously, you have to build what works for you. Bet you didn't even think about building coils almost 9 months ago when you first started. I know I wasn't. 1 ohm, sub-ohm, pffft who needs that stuff, now look at me...:facepalm::vapor:

So I've got the itch to add to my vape gear. Here is the stuff I currently have have.
3 Aspire CE5-S's
1 Aspire Mini
1 Kanger ST Mini
1 istick 20
1 istick 50

I wish I had additional gear because I want to be able vape a different flavor in a decent tank like one of my mini's, but then be able to trouble free switch back. I think I just need more tanks so I can give certain juices a permanent home.

On one hand I think another Aspire Mini or a ST Mini might do, but I'm open to other ideas. Goblin maybe? Or possibly something completely different?
I should mention that I've enjoyed using the RBA on the ST Mini. Some of you may have seen my posts in another thread, I built my first coil just the other day. I've been rewicking the factory mounted coil on the RBA deck for a few weeks now.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
