Here is my mod in the works, the prints are with the cnc operator as i type I`m hoping to have them back by this week end so i can build it , this case will hold 1 18650 or 2 18350, you can just use a 3amp switch and make it 3.7 volt or add a booster or regulator theres is plenty of room for a usb charger. note the ring cut in the top piece this is for mega addys or the new tank addy,
well just to get things started here is some pics from soildworks, the really deal should be around this weekend. mod2pic2.jpgmod2.jpgmod2pic.jpg

I am using the ptn04050cha i have been vapin the breadboard with it and it seem to work well as Long as you have good battery's that can handle the amp draw.

Can't seem to find that part number??? Looked at the PTN04050cah and it appears that the minimum output voltage is 5 volts...

i did think about rounding both sides but that ended up making it a little bit bigger. with the flat side the booster chip and charger fit better. my buddy is back to work now but hes backed up from missing a few day he said maybe saterday he can do it or next week..i keep bugging him a few times a day and i`m putting one togather for him to so i know he will get it done soon as he can. its killing me to have all the parts sitting here and no box to put them in.

If it's specks are close to what I used (can't remember the p#) a resistor between the ground and Adj pin will boost it from it's naked 5volts up. But a resistor between the ground and the Vout will drop it below 5v. I have mine at 4.4v but this sets it to a fixed output. That's OK with me.
