Hi there switched
Iam interested in upgrading into the evic. What tank would you recommend that is as close
Dripping. As I have a ego twist kit and it really doesn't work that well when I need to do 3 or 4 pulls
But when doing drip it is good. But I would like something that I don't have to keep adding juice.. Hope
I haven't confused you. Lol

Thanks. Clint

Under normal circumstances the 3 Ohms might be a little cool on a straight battery, but because the eVic employs both VV and VW you will be fine.

The eVic comes complete with a battery (please read the descriptions on the page :) but if you want extras the eFest 18650 will suit it.

The AGAT is a rebuild-able "genesis style" atomizer... unles you are an intermediate to advanced vaper, I would forgo it at this time.

Just thought I would share a bird's eye view of a typical day in the shop. Enjoy :)

That's awesome Switcher! Myself being a throwback hippie furniture maker at heart I can hardly wait to retire and spend the rest of my days in the workshop creating!
My hats off to you buddy that you do what you love when you want to do it. And being the proud owner of one of your creations (50 mm) I for one appreciate what you create! Thanks for sharing!

On this day precisely 3 years ago, I became smoke free:) Here's my story...

Hello my name is Rick and I am a smoker.

I started smoking at age 12, was given permission to smoke when I entered high school as mum thought it better to have me smoke, than smoking weed.

From the onset I was not your average smoker, I enjoyed combusting tobacco, at least back in the seventies, we were still combusting tobacco. I preferred rolling my own over tailor mades. Within a couple of years a developed a real penchant for variety alternating between tobacco blends and brands. The bottom line, I enjoyed tobacco, smoking was a side effect. Zooming right along...

Over the years I was able to sample a large variety of different tobaccos having travelled the world. My favourite by far were Dutch Tobaccos followed closely by English Tobaccos, each bringing their own bouquet of voluptuous goodness. My career exposed me to a variety of ethnicity and cultural backgrounds I quickly became a junkie of the finer things in life. From gourmet cooking to wine to enjoying premium cigars (some of you have seen my humidor).

Outside of enjoying a fine cigar coupled with the appropriate spirit, smoking was boring and I disliked it. It was a tiring habit, a bad one at that. I smoked because of habit and no longer pleasure, it is at this point that one goes Self! do something about it. I smoked for 41 years. As many of us I did it all over the years and failed. Based on my smoking history it is not hard to see why. The longest I remained smoke free was 5 weeks following laser therapy, the only method that worked for me. This failure is not attributed to the treatment but rather life circumstances at the time, working shift work I was unable to go in for a booster when needed. Nonetheless, I began smoking once again. When I decided to give laser therapy another go upon return from our honeymoon, they no longer existed :( I began a quest to find an alternative method....

I had remembered an add I briefly saw on a TV channel some years before wrt electronic cigarette. The rest is history! My first kit was a SaferCig after weeks of research. It was a good kit but I still smoked, my neighbour now enjoys it. I joined the forums, my first forum was PEC, where the hoopla in those days was "the 510". Well I had nothing to loose. I ordered one along with some RY4 and got the kit during an afternoon. Woa baby, where have you been all my life. That day was the 07 Feb 2010. I had my last cigarette after supper that night.

The following morning I tail piped 10-12 hits of 24mg RY4 (drip tips weren't invented yet), gave myself a good buzz and that was when I knew I had smoked my last cig the night before. Over the upcoming weeks I tooted less in the morning and not so soon after getting up. It was at that point that I knew I was on the road to recovery. My crutch in the beginning was to find out as much as I could about the filthiness of cigarettes and supporting each other as vapers. The rest is history...

My proudest moment in vaping came last year were I was able to convert 4 seniors, two of which were prior vapers but gave it up because of what was available at the time. One of them is known as Fisherpal. Under my advice she has quit the forums and is doing extremely well and is still vaping to this day. We are in touch. I sent her an e-mail sometime after the holidays wondering what had become of her. I was tickled pink with her response to our communiqué. She quit the forums because she found what worked for her and is tired of chasing rainbows.

So.... lets celebrate :)

On this occasion JR Custom Turning extends to the community that has assisted me in remaining smoke free a few prizes.

Congratulations Rick on your 3 year smokefree anniversary!

Here's my story

My name is Michael, and I'm a smoker...

I started smoking at the young of age 15. I just entered high school, got my first car, you know typical peer pressure at that age, and the rest is history. The only reason I smoked back then was to fit in, and "be cool." I always told myself that I could quite any time I wanted, and as soon as a pack of smokes got to cost $1.00, that would be the day. Well, the cost of cigarettes reached $1.00, then $2.00, then $3.00 and so on but I still kept throwing money into my filthy habit.

By the time I quite, a pack of cigarettes cost over $12, but that wasn't stopping me from spending $24 a day on cigarettes during the week, and easily triple that on the weekends! I found it was easy to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes on a Saturday while spending the day at the cottage with friends in the summer. Cigarettes, cocktails, friends and summer, what goes together more than those elements?

I was a smoking machine. I'd light up at 5 A.M before I had my first cup of coffee before work, and .... out my last one at 11PM before bed. I soon realized I was an addict, that had no control anymore of my cigarette addiction and it starting weighing heavy on my mind. I guess what they say is true to some extent, that you get wiser with age, because it wasn't until one night laying in bed waiting to fall asleep I had a epiphany! Every night after putting my head on my pillow I would listen to lungs wheeze myself to sleep, and during this lullaby my mind would be be racing with questions. "My God, you sound like hell," my mind would tell me, and I would wonder if I'd wake up the next morning. Well it wasn't until one night that my brain flat out said, "Mike, your're going to DIE if you keep this up!" With that revelation I sat straight up in bed and for once totally and wholeheartedly agreed with my inner voice!

The rest is history so to speak, because after doing some research on the internet that night, I placed an order for my first ecig, the Ego. While I was waiting for my kit to arrive, I knew that it was going to be what needed to allow me to walk away from my filthy, expensive cigarette habit. And a week later I was right, because the afternoon of Sept. 20, 2011 my first puff of some really really bad root beer flavoured juice, I knew that I had smoked my last cigarette.

I've since moved on from the Ego, and now enjoy GG's and RBA's and all the other things that make vaping more like a hobby, but the fact remains that a simple little electronic device known as the Ego very much saved my life!
