I can also see the look on my wife's face now when I ask...Hun, where's the Tampons? I need to re-wick my vaporizer.

I have 10 OCC's to rebuild.. all apart and cleaned, supplies at the ready.. 28g and 30g available, shooting for 1.2 ohms
tried last night- able to keep the coil in position, but couldn't get the leads in the right position to keep the coil centered once all put together, especially with those little grooves for the wire in the base of the head.
maybe my lighting was bad, maybe my hands are shaking too much.. any advice?
eta: lining them all up, those grooves are not consistent, all in different positions.. none of them line up with the wick holes, or anything really.. what the special h3ll is this?
eta: just like Ghostbusters.. don't cross the leads.. I'm giving myself a fews

Incoming dumb question here...everywhere i read, oh I have this mod and that mod and they're all regulated. Then I read, oh I've got this, and this and this but they're unregulated.....what the hell is the difference?
VV/VW devices are regulated. You set the voltage or wattage and that is what they will put out. An unregulated device puts out the voltage that the battery is at. A R word is unregulated, an iStick is regulated.

I just now realized that the name for this thread has changed??? So does that mean it's safe to mention the "R" word here now or is that still a no-no?
My original intention was a non biased thread to help folks with any type of device and the building of their chosen atty's but since we also have a thread dedicated to the Reo it's fine to keep this one geared towards others. The reason it was originally changed is that some folks that didn't or don't want a Reo or didn't have the means to acquire one felt a bit offended when the Reo was being pushed on them which is completely understandable.

Just thought it was kinda funny that's all! I originally was looking for the thread with your rebuild pics of the OCC coils that's when I noticed it.
