IF there were any in stock, IF, I doubt it was due to a lot of people hoarding that caused them to sell out so quick, Nhaler has a 2 per order limit, it's right there on the page, if there were a hundred, it would take 50 people crashing the site within 2 minutes to wipe them out, whats far more likely is that the stock was less than 20, I would be surprised to see 20 people wipe them out that quick tbh, just that is the max I could see going that quick.
You guys have to remember, the Opus is still kind of our little secret, everybody knows about the Darwin, but the Opus is still not that well known.

There were some in stock. Those of us that requested to be notified, were, and it was set for 5pm EST and they were gone by 5:02pm. So I hope Drew can get some more in a reasonable time.

Drew said it's not the DNA board but it is made by Evolv. I think there were more available than that, but I'm just guessing. It's probably a seriously hot item for those that know of its existence. Didn't a lot of high profile folks down at the Vapebash in Florida have them for personal use too? It got some exposure down there maybe? Many people know about it from the newsletters?
So I know I'm going to be more prepared next time, and I hope more of us can get a shot at one. Wishing all the best of luck.

FYI...The Opus was under design and released before before the DNA was conceived...The Opus has its own board that is "Made by EVOLV" and has been designed to work specifically with the Opus.
The original concept of the Opus was to have a "Kick" like mod with internal paralleled power source and USB charging in an elegant form factor. We decided to up the watts a little after the initial release.
We also seriously considered putting a screen on it, but decided it would take away from its look and simplicity of the device. I wanted it to have more of an old coffee table lighter look, with the performance of The Darwin.
The more components introduced make the production more difficult, and dependent upon outside sources, which is apparently, whats slowing down production of The Darwin now...My hopes are to be able to release these every couple weeks with the availability growing with the demand.
I have featured The Opus in my last 2 email campaigns and have received countless requests to be notified...My suggestion would be to get on the list and sign up for our newsletter if you havent already so you will be sure to recieve notifications.
I apologize to those that didnt get them. I wish I had enough for everyone. Thanks,

vapestock in florida is where I saw them for the first time.... but unfortunately I had already purchased a GG and an empire by the time I made it to the inhaler table. I diddnt see many tho. Drew had a couple sitting on the table and I'm sure he had a few behind it. But strangely the Mod I saw the most of was the darwin...for a mod thats so hard to get, it seems like I saw more darwin's then anything else. I did see alot of Bolts tho!

I was one of the lucky ones to be able to get in on Drew's last sale of the Opus and it has arrived. I did get to play with Isaac's while at vapestock and never got to get over to the NHaler table to make my purchase . I forgot how small and the range of elegance this little mod was/is. Love, love, love. I have it charging right now and will post a few pics a little later. Now I can send the Darwin in for a maintenance check up.

I was one of the lucky ones to be able to get in on Drew's last sale of the Opus and it has arrived. I did get to play with Isaac's while at vapestock and never got to get over to the NHaler table to make my purchase
I got mine today too HzG8rGrl. I too didn't realize how small it was but I like the feel of it in my hand. I took a few puff with it just to see how it worked, nice/powerful. But I just got home so I'm going to plug it in for the night and really give it a workout tomorrow.

I'm hoping you are wrong... simply because I want the LCD screen... I might want to vape different flavors at different watts as it does seem to make a difference to me with some flavors... and for that I believe the Darwin will be easier.
I would not bet against your statement... but I still hope that you are wrong.
Yeah... I'm one of em... I've been stalking this forum with occasional posts since late March... and checking for them most days (missed a few but not many) and keep hoping for some word. I do understand though since Evolv has been busy with new products such as the DNA, Kick, and the Opus. I had a chance to buy the first release of the Opus, but decided to wait for a Darwin. I'll probably wait as long as Labor Day before I give up. After that I will probably just go with VV instead since that would then be 6 months.
I may never really miss the LCD screen, but I like things more precise than guessing... Just OCD that way I suppose!

Talk about PV jealousy! LOL! I've been debating on pulling the trigger on an Opus because it seems more readily available than the Darwin, plus it looks so elegant. And I sooo need another Darwin so I can send mine in for a battery replacement, although I still get a good day of vaping it as been well over a year of owning one and would like a "fresh" battery. So I've put myself on the notification list, and am crossing my fingers that the Opus will be released again soon

Since you are a Darwin vet you will love the Opus. This thing is cool as hell and just feels right in your hand. NO COMMENTS ON THAT ONE KD
. Even though it does not have the display it is surprisingly simple to dial in by taste since you already know how the Darwin behaves. It really is a nice addition to the vaping arsenal and it looks great too.- Status
