The only bummer is that on the Original Opus it doesn't sit flat with a plug installed. :( But hey, it keeps gunk out!

Yeah, that is a bit of a downside.

Wasn't going to get one, then I saw the black one, score.

Ahhhh Haaaa you stole the black one??? I was trying for that and settled on the only other choice. No problem. Damn hope the wife does not see the package since this will be the second DNA20 mod to hit the mailbox this week. Thank god for separate bank accounts!! Happy vapes jkmtwo and enjoy the new toy

Hey Drew!

Not sure if it's cool to post this here...feel free to delete if you don't want reviews in the thread.

It's a good one though :)

Ok Since you posted here ...I will add MY Comments here...

The button is placed (with the contour) for those that want to use it in either hand.

WE decided on a flush (slightly raised for air flow) to allow more tanks, atomizers and cartomizer combinations. If you want to use and Ego style connector (CE4,CE5,Evod,Panzer coming soon to NHALER.COM) then you can just use a 510 to Ego adapter without increasing the overall length of the Mod or tank combination as it would be recessed into the carto.

Sub Ohm means below 1 Ohm. If you use a sub Ohm atomizer when the charge of the battery is below your intended wattage the voltage lite will blink and it will give you the lowest available battery voltage (unregulated) available until the battery runs down some. It has twin Lipoly battery packs (only one that you can see...The other is on the opposite side of the mounting board) that are wired in parallel so the output voltage is 3.7 unregulated.

There is no drip well but the lines are designed to run overflow off the mod (if it is standing up and leaking unattended) off the side that is solid , rather than down the button side. It is NOT designed to hold liquid in the connector area but rather to deflect the liquid to the least vulnerable area.

The back is removable to allow people to send it in for battery replacements in the future. Our thoughts are that The Opus D's construction will last years and will out live the consumable battery life, so we wanted to give the people the option of sending it in for a battery swap in the future.

The other thing I have not seen with ANY of the reviews is that The DNA 20 is the ONLY true VW board that is true Power Regulated device. Now Brandon and I have seen all (99% maybe missed a couple of the cloned clones))of the
and have seen that most of them are merely EGo twist boards with different software and a wattage interface.

NONE, I repeat NONE of them truly regulate the power they just show you what the wattage is during the variable voltage cycle... I was hoping that one or more of the reviewers would figure this out with an amp reading perhaps or a metered side by side comparison.

Other than that I cant disagree with you on the other points ...

WAIT!!! I think the logo (except for the D) is the absolute BADDEST I've ever seen...I am NOT a designer though!;)

Thanks Man...I did enjoy watching the vid and really glad it wasnt 45 minutes long!:vapor:

I wasn't referring to the actual Opus D as poop...I wasn't even calling the logo itself poop ;) I was just saying that the Logo looked like it had just done a "D" shaped dookie.

I think drew has answered well to the very few criticisms I could come up with on the Opus D. Honestly, I think the whole list of negatives are all pretty much minor nitpicking things that I struggled to think of since I have to have negatives...you know...because nothing is 100% perfect.

Overall...that's a positive review...if you watch it to the end, it gets a recommendation.

As as for truly regulated...that is going to be a separate video, ask Brandon...I have already talked to him about this subject. I have something being made to help test that. See below:

Bummer of the day here. My Opus D has decided to stop reading the resistance of my atty's. :( It's weird, everything still lights up, tells me the wattage it's set to, the voltage reads fine, just no longer tells me the resistance.

Anyone here have any idea what the culprit could be? I've already sent an email to Roger, but if I remember correctly he doesn't respond to message on the weekends. :(

If it's displaying the voltage then it sounds like the device is still reading the resistance, just not displaying it.
