Ohhhhhh and Andel steals the other black one :) No issue a blue one showed up at my house today. Nicely built and feels right at home in hand. I have not had much time with it but I already see this unit finding a place in the steady rotation. Much better build quality and layout than my recently purchased (and similarly priced Hanna Modz). One minor issue is that the back cover (in my opinion) should be fastened with a Flathead machine screw versus the ovalhead. The Ovalhead protrudes out and just looks out of place when compared to the overall appearance of the unit. Not a big issue since I have a nice assortment of machine screws and will change it out once I get a minute or three.

Drew and team - Thanks again for getting a super nice mod into our hands and staying a step ahead when it comes to new toys. You and the nHaler team ROCK!

Fully depleting the battery and then plugging it back in resets it. It's now reading the resistance. In case anyone else encounters this. :toast:

That actually just happened to me at my lunch break today. I'd already seen this post yesterday, but being at work with a mostly charged battery I couldn't do that fix right then. just out of curiosity I unscrewed my tank and clicked the button (give me the "check atomizer" on the display) and after that it was showing resistance again. Not sure if that is always a fix, but it worked in that one instance

When I heard that there would be a choice of Blue and Black, I knew I had to have the Black, so I jump right in there to seal the deal.
I do like the grooves on the side that allows a nice fits in my hand. And I agree with it comes to anything new and innovation Drew is the man

Got my black one today too and it's nice but had a quick question.

Does anyone have any tricks to make the corners, around the bottom near the screw, smooth? Not trying to knit pick but the two corners that aren't flush are kinda sharp. I tried lightly sanding and it helped a little but exposed the original metal so I stopped.

Again nice device but just hoping to find a way to fix these corners.

Thanks for any help/advice and Vape On!!

Alas I tried that, but it didn't do it for me. I tried all kinds of combinations and none of them worked. But it might work for other folks. :)

You could mail it to me and I could mail you my smooth edged blue one. :D But in all seriousness, I don't have any real advice, sorry.

Andel if anyone deserves a black one it is you. I tried to get home in time but did not log on until 6:30. I am happy I got any color:). With how it is performing I am willing to bet there is a black one in my future anyway. It will be easier to tell them apart. Happy vapes young lady and be well.

Got my blue Opus D yesterday - ultra fast ship. :)

One question - I tried charging directly out of the box (has about 75% charge initially) - there doesn't seem to be any charge indicator/visual clue. The small light on the included charger stays black (unlit); and the on-device battery meter hasn't moved after a few hours. The USB port seems to wiggle around in the slot a bit.

Did I get a bum unit or is it a sit/wait type of thing where suddenly it's charged?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Wall charger may be bad since it does not light up. If you are like most people you likely have a nice collection of cables in the junk drawer from all the electronic toys we have today. Find one that has a USB end and charge off your computer. This will confirm if it is the Opus or the charger. I would be willing to bet it will charge right up.

Drew any eta on Opus D?

Have you sent them an e-mail asking to be notified of new stock?

Normally it's a sit and wait type thing. The DNA20 board has no charging notification. :( That'd be my only gripe with this beautiful device, is that they didn't implement some sort of charging light like the OG Opus. I normally get a full day out of mine and charge it at night while I sleep. I hope you didn't get a bum charger, that would suck.

That seemed to do it - think the included charger was DOA. Pulled another and it charged up w/o any problem. Thanks.

Ummm... perhaps it's a lack of caffeine, but I think I'm seeing double. ;)
