Okay here is what the orange ball is for...aka "the 3 sea shells"...google it.
It will keep your connection in place and juice out of the head cap. This is for the bottom feed mainly.

It's on the GLV-2 order page on the Web site, right above the option drop-downs. Nothing fancy, just shows how it goes together and the battery orientation for 5v & 6v GLV-2s.

Has anyone installed the ball and set screw yet, wondering cause I'm not sure if the hole is supposed to be threaded or if the set screw is self tapping. I've tried to self tap the screw in without luck and don't want to damage anything by forcing it.

Haven't tried it yet but my head-cap is clearly threaded.

Is there anywhere we can get the little black plug that finishes the hole like in the GLV2s? Hardware store, ya think?
