Thanks!! I just grabbed one!!! Orchid 1 (x2) owner skipping to Orchid 4! yeah!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Ha,must be a Columbus thing,i'm going the same,2 v1's,skipping everything in between and going for the v4 haha.
Finally. A longer chimney.

The Orchid is finally the atty it should've been from the beginning. This thing blows huge clouds, awesome airflow, doesn't leak, is easy to build on, and now has access to the huge volume of kayfun accessories out there. Custom glass tanks, top fill, dome caps... brass, copper, black... you want it, you can probably find it.

IMO, there is ZERO reason any other tank system should even be considered at this point, especially when you consider cost and the aftermarket.

Long live the king.
I could not agree more, this is almost the perfect atty now.To make it the perfect atty though, they need to build it with a glass tank. The only problem i still see is that kayfun quartz, the metal rings will still limit capacity just a bit,and for those who use vg heavy juice, those rings will make wicking harder.I found that out with the kayfun kit i had cut down, the rings are so very close to the chimney, that with 30pg/70vg i was getting dry hits pretty often, put the same base and coil setup back with the stock tank and it wicked perfectly.I think if they would take this version, remove the threads from the top cap and base, and add grooves for o-rings,add a quartz tank, then thread the top of the chimney like a fogger to keep it from coming apart, then it would be the absolute perfect atty, and would most likely be the best selling atomizer ever made haha.

Ft has the Orchid for 8.66 SKU 1850901

I had a nightmare time getting the one I got a week ago running. Cindy helped me on another thread. I am running it with twisted 32 ga, 12 wraps, single coil. Pack the unused airhole on the deck with cellucotton, run tails of cellucotton down the juice channel, both o-rings on the chimney. No leaks, guzzles juice.

I am thinking of getting three of the lowest price one, it has plenty of discussion and ratings.

What did you use to open up the channels?I have a couple kayfun clones that have really small channels i need to open up.I tried a file but with that i would have them done in about 3 years haha.

I've been using Dremel # 7134 diamond bit. I line the bit up next to the juice channel and put pressure to open it up wider left-right and a little more in depth. Used this on my Kayfun as well. Doing 90VG/10PG no problem in the Orchid. :)

I am, too. It is a whole new dimension in satisfaction. At this point, I am filling it up with another flavor every time it gets empty. I let the chips fall where they may in terms of mixing with the previous flavor. I am losing interest in clearos altogether. Thanks for the suggestion. The price can't be beat.

Cant wait to get the v4 and a new ipv v2 , my Evic Supreme seems to be totally shot. It only reads my Kayfun 1.1 ohm build. I finally had a good build on the orchid v3 with cotton (waiting on some Rayon) only filling it 3/4 and during a rewicking and after changing other atomizers nothing works on it anymore.

Plus the dial was going on it, so now only way to set the vv/vw is preset and like said idk whats wrong but the 510 will only read the kayfun....
...... its 165$ screensaver! Still waiting on a return call from Joytech...will see. It was only bought july 1st. Maybe get lucky fall under some warranty. But this sux im on my mvp with nautilus mini. Its definitely better then nothing tho.
Just want my orchid back lol shipped ipv yesterday. Hope gets here by Saturday fingers crossed.

Holy Moses!! Just got my V4 and first impressions are A+++++!! :)

It doesn't even seem like a Tobeco product. Machining it's really nice. Everything fits perfect and tight. Took it apart and it was even assembled well. Nothing that wasn't screwed in all the way. Everything was quite clean and for the first time I didn't even wash it out first! Mostly cause I was too excited to build it but still would have washed it if it wasn't as clean as it was. The drip tip is a wide bore with what looks like a delrin insert that connects to the atty.

Built dual coil 28ga 10 wraps on a 3/32" bit running at .9 ohm at 20 watts using 80/20 vg/pg using rayon and it is kicking ....!! Airflow seems to be the same as the v1 which is the most airflow of any stock RTA I know of. I hope it continues to please!!

Also it did come with Phillips screws installed and hex screws in a bag with a wrench if you want to change it.

Cool, thanks for the tip.I was figuring it was some type of dremel bit,but wasn't sure which type to get,so now i will go pick one up.I haven't had any problems with my orchids wicking, which the heaviest i go on my vg is 70%,but even at 50/50 these kayfuns i have are horrible with dry hits,so definitely going to open them up.

No problem. I can't seem to leave my attys normal. All of them are modded in some way. Kayfun is modded out. Orchid is done. Them 3mm holes helped out with the big airy draw I like. Vapes like a champ now.
