I didn't realize you could use mesh as wick. I thought it was conductive. Are you saying that oxidizing it makes it non-conductive? How do you do that? Just torch it?
Yes you use a torch or lighter. You do not have to do that as when you work your coil in the oxidization from that will create a small barrier between it and the mesh. But mesh has oil's on it as not to corrode so you want that off of there.
I guess we need to teach Linda how to build a genny with mesh

I am by no means an expert mesh builder. 
Personally I would use a Micro Coil and Rayon in the Nectar, as I have never built a U wick from mesh.
This one one of my best working mesh builds in the Sat22
This was my best in the Origenny before I replaced the broken center post with a cheese head 3mm screw.
In the ugly shorting clone junk Nextgen, I had to use Ekowool over Mesh to actually get it to vape... The EoM build.
I am hopefully going to get a pair of properly coiled BD13 wicks running in my Kraken this weekend.

I imagine you could mesh build the Nectar just like the BF-99 (I always wanted a BF-99) and jong is the mesh MASTER!

Apparently it was due to my wick being too dry, but I didn't know that
. It just kept repeatedly flaming up and I kept blowing it out. I joined the Victor Hall of Fame.

In other news, I just finished putting a build on one of my new Orchids that came in today. I was really pleased to find that a Kayfun M tank fits perfectly on it, so that's what I used. I watched a bunch of videos and everyone seems to wick them differently, so I just played it by ear and it seems to be working great. I was most worried about leaks, as there seem to be a lot of threads about leaking problems. But I haven't had even a drop yet.
But I'm not sure this is really a tootle puffer tank. I was trying to tootle it at 15 watts, and I got good flavor, but something was missing. So out of the blue I just lung hit it and OMG!
This big cloud come out and my dog came running in to see what was happening. I've never done that before, but it was kind of fun. And it sure does make you a little bit high. I guess I'm gonna have to turn in my tootle puffer card.

I just can't figure out why it was so natural to lung hit this tank and a few months back when I tried to lung hit an STM, I thought I'd lose a lung by the time I quit coughing.
Last year for my birthday a friend gave me a Doge RDA. I had no clue. I built it and put it on my Sigelei 100W. I kept cranking up the power looking for the flavor. Next thing I know I'm at 50W and blew out such a big cloud I said, "Holy #$%&!". I didn't want it Now I kind of wish I hadn't sold it, but it was way out of my league at the time.

I started lung hitting so gradually I didn't notice for a long time that I was doing it. I think it started with the Orchid, but I even lung hit the Rose and Erlkonigin. I don't know how to m2l anymore. I think if I tried to smoke a cig now I would croak.

I think you get to collect a new, additional card.
