They have them on sale at craving vapor for 140 right now down from 190. Well worth the money they are very well made and come with a Lifetime Warranty. I did get mine used for 110 off of a reddit classifieds add but was going to buy a new one last week till this one came up for sale.

@Kenna Its here!

What a great purchase this was.

Whoop!! I told you so! Works fine for tootling on up to cloud chasing. And lifetime warranty, too. If anything happens, just send it to craving vapor & they'll basicly rebuild the whole thing & send it back. Normally really quickly unless they are all at a vape meet somewhere which puts the repairs on hold for a week. Now Ivm wanting a blue one. Or maybe a Hex Angel...or should I hold out for a Suicide Bunny?

I'd be curious how much you have to adjust the pot, if at all, to compensate as the battery levels go down. Please report back, okay?
Very small increments is all I adjust at all. If I start having to adjust much I swap out batteries. As it is, the batteries are lasting me a couple of days or more.

HA! I dunno I am pretty partial to the blue one :D

I think a Hex Angel would be awesome, then maybe the Suicide Bunny?

The tank in the picture has a 1ohm SS coil in it and its just great you were right :)

Not all the colors are on sale & it's only the 2.1's. I did see today that they added more colors to the sale. Dammit. Probably ordering a blue tomorrow. Or Hammond Black. I refuse to order both!

You go girl!!!

The blue is beautiful I think. I did not realize the quality of these was so good. The older ones are not near as nice as these new enclosures I have not one complaint!

I like them as much as my Kay Fun's, & that's saying something!

I see. What do you like better about PWM over a comparable sized regulated? I'm thinking of making one, but have no experience with using them.

I think I want to get another one next month. I kinda like the brushed stainless one it kinda caught my attention today when I was looking over there or maybe the hammond black painted one.

I think it offers even finer tuning. It's actually dialing in your power setting, not clicking. And the fire button is nice & clicky.

The Hexohm would not be considered a PWM device the way that we look at mods. All regulated mods are PWM, but most signals are quieted on the output using capacitors. The OKL board in the Hexohm uses caps for a smooth signal that we are used too.

I think you are asking about the PWM boards that are becoming popular now that do have a pulsed signal on the output and are adjusted via potentiometer? If you watch the Plumes of Hazard show from last week and today Mastblast builds one during the show.

You know you can polish the paint off the logo & have it be shiny. You can't polish the splatter ones because it takes the splatter off. I'm thinking about getting a Zombie green & polishing the splatter off because I love that green.

Yes, that's what I'm asking about. Clearly I need to do more homework. Thanks.

I dont know a whole lot about them but they seem like the new thing these days. I have used the smaller board that is in the Hexohm but is only 50w in a mod and built some DNA's and a couple Yihi's. But have not a clue about the PWM boards. They seem pretty neat though and would be fun to do. You should watch those Plumes episodes they go into great detail about them and how to build one. Here is a link to somewhere that sells them. They also sell a OKL T-20 mounted to a sled that only needs a few hooks up to complete, its the same board that is in the Hexohm.

If you do build one please post here I would like to follow your progress and how you like it :)

You're using temperature control and don't even know it (or maybe you do) :)

Variable voltage plus stainless steel gives you a rudimentary version of TC since the ohms climb when heated.

LOL I did not think about it that way.
