Easier for me to wrap than parallel (and trap under the screw heads) with my hand issues. I have pretty severe arthritis, neuropathy, Dupeytren's contracture and Raynaud's

Yes, I'm like the medical manual for hand problems.
Sometimes I can't make coils for a while as my left wrist with JRA gets to shaking bad... And its not even "Real" Arthritis(to me atleast).. But also add Anxiety into the mix and im done for lol Was on Beta Blockers to control the shaking, but they didn't work very well, its not noticeable looking at my hand, its just when I start to use small items or balance heavier items...

Interesting ... I've not pulled mine apart to check my insulator. But, easily replaced and just highlights to me what a simple and effective design the Nectar is ... did I mention that it never leaks ;) And obviously available ...
Yes that could easily be replaced with a piece of PTFE tubing.
It's on my Wish List for the next order along with 20 other things...

I just hate FT, FC and 3F...

I still want a Nectar, but the SQRs and Snapdragon are waiting for me!

No GEM yet... :(

I just put a build on my new Gem, TrollDragon. Still don't have the o-rings I ordered, but I just adjusted the pin and it doesn't seem to wobble. It would still be better with an o-ring, though.

I'm really enjoying the vape. The flavor is pretty close to my Erls, which I think are the best of the best. :D But it's nice to get that great flavor out of a glass tank since I can't put tank crackers in my Erls. Yes, I'm going to need to order a second one! (Or even more) Plus some Nectars. From what I've heard is in the FDA deeming, I'm feeling the need to really stock up on things.

I'm hoping it will break in, and I've been vaping it most of the day. When I first got it, I was playing with the switch before I put in the battery, and twice it stuck slightly in the firing position. It hasn't done it with the battery in, but I'm vaping very mindfully. :)

I didn't realize either that you can't set a bottom-firing mod on its bottom.

I've got a trick. Do this on a plate so you dont loose the tiny pin.

Take the switch off the mod.

Unscrew the silver screw in the
middle.

The magnets will come apart. Set the tiny pin somewhere safe.

Take a pencil and rub the inside and outside of the switch with the pencil graphite.

Reassemble :D

Oh, RA is real alright. And so is anxiety. I don't have the shaking very often. I use a koiler with a paperclip method. Perfect coils no matter what.

I know its real, by saying that, I was more or so comparing it to other levels of Arthritis.. Hard to explain.. It sucked, had to go to Duke Hospital every month for 2 days to check my wrist and eyes... I also use Rollers, just hard to mount them for me when it kicks in...

That does suck, especially for a kid. I had occasional symptoms as a child, but they were written off as growing pains. Symptoms slowly spread & got more frequent over the years, easily shrugged off since they didn't last long. Then one day, at age 42, it hit full blown & stayed. That was 19 years ago. Biggest thing is finding therapy that works & getting uninterrupted access to it. I only get worse when access to biologics is cut off by copay/deductable issues, or even access to insurance. Yep, yep, yep.

It started when I was 6, left wrists bone size was of that of a 10year old.. But its pretty much in a dorm stage now..
Yeah, when it was going on, my parents had trouble when insurance through work would change and Duke was not on their. So they would send me to a doctor that was on the plan to have them decide if they could treat the complexities of my symptoms(Both Eyes & Wrist).. All said no, so they HAD to pay for Duke visits.. And Duke was very generous to not even charge us for some surgeries and certain other things that are normally thousands! :)

No mate, it's slightly bigger than an original BB and of Chinese origin. It's called a Pocket Rocket ( ) and nowhere near the quality of my original, but it's not too bad. Wanted to try it as I have all these 18350s just laying around doing nothing ;)
Makes sense! The shape of it just made me think Billet Box style..
