Before CNY I contacted Wismec with an idea to use the rx200 body for a dual battery regulated squonker. They are discussing it in the R&D department  Wow, I would be so happy if they made it! I suggested:

*150W since its 2 batteries
* put squonk bottle in the front where the third battery goes and cut squonk hole in the battery door
* move 510 to above the bottle

The board would then be far away from the juice and isolated. You would have to move the juice bottle to the side to get your batteries in, but that's a minor inconvenience I think for a cheap two battery regulated squonker.

What do y'all think?

Only downside is you'd need a very long positive wire which is where voltage drops and inaccuracies occur, maybe they can get around that with really thick gauge wire. As far as the idea I love that, I'd buy one. Still waiting on my Steamcrave to arrive, damn CNY. :)

Hopefully they'll do it right, if they do it at all. And even if that makes the power delivery less accurate, I would still be happy with an inexpensive dual battery squonker that can power claptons well :)

Kinda like this? ;) DIY squonker vapers are always looking for such opportunities. That form factor is a gimmie for conversion. This one was done by @Subohmies. Check out the link below.

What do y'all think?

I made one last week with the guts from a hexohm. It was too large for me so I recycled it.

Became this
