Ugghh..need help. All suggestions/feedback greatly appreciated.
I have several pieces of equipment. ipv's, Cloupor etc. Things that go to high wattage but I do not go high. I like to vape around 12 watts. With these aforementioned pieces of equipment I occasionally get blasted burning hits. The watts are set where I like them but there it is ...every once in awhile a burning hot hit.
I do not get this with my original istick (20watts) or my Vamo's (15watts)
Is there something I am not setting correctly? It is like the battery sets the device to BLAST without my consent
Honestly, I would like the Presa 75 more, but the atty placement annoys me. I love my VTC mini...I've heard only good things about the VTC mini, but my favorite is the Presa 75W. It's got the same chip as the VTC mini, but my hands find its shape more comfortable, and my carpel tunnel is grateful for the firing button being the full face of the mod. It can usually be found for a bit less than the VTC mini, too.

Been looking at that one pretty hard...Check out the Presa 100. They moved the atty placement to the back.

I love mine (VTC Mini)! It's my favorite mod at this time. I have a Pico on pre-order though, so that could change. As I said, I've heard nothing but good things about the VTC mini.
I'll only get the Pico if I can run it with a Pico.I love mine (VTC Mini)! It's my favorite mod at this time. I have a Pico on pre-order though, so that could change.![]()

It has step down in TC mode. If you put it in TC you will be able to get less than battery voltage even with kanthal. This is from my own experience and I passed the device over to a friend and he still uses it that way. It is something that was pretty common when they were released I imagine lots of people are still doing it that way.My IPV is a D2. So that is what is going on..lack of step down? What are ways around it?
My Pico is on my mini volt
Nice little tanks. Little fiddly to build the first time or two but worth it.My Pico is on my mini volt

Its easy, just put it in TC mod and select titanium wire. After that adjust the power as normal substituting Joules for Watts. If you want 10w put it at 10J and it will be fairly close.this sounds way over my head
Actually, my first build was a CLR head. Love that feature...Nice little tanks. Little fiddly to build the first time or two but worth it.
Yah that is goodProbably, but that's not the reason I use themAnd with rayon as the wick, and with very thin tails extending down the tank can be wicked completely empty. Eggcellent

no I am really confused because I thought you could only use TC with the specific wires, such a titanium and nickel. Not Kanthal. So if I figure out how to set it in TC and then set the watts where I want them that will solve the problem? It has step down in TC mode. You will not get TC with that wire but it will get the power down to where you need to be.
I will really have to watch some video's because I am clueless as to how to use my devices, especially the Cloupor. I need to figure out how to use it properly. I think I changed it by accident (TC and back) a few times and this is why I am seeing it as unreliable and 'all over the place'no I am really confused because I thought you could only use TC with the specific wires, such a titanium and nickel.
