Well, this is how I solved it. I stretched a 10 x 1 o ring over the pants tube. Its so thin its really not noticeable. That lifted the pants enough not to spin.
It arrived today. Isn't it beautiful?
My other 2 poldis are full satin classic - I'm not bothered about beauty and I don't like maintenance.
But the Aname is absolutely lovely; I might even try to keep it looking that way.
Oh my God! I think the Chinese bought MMV!View attachment 476854
You got me looking at my RW Classic that I ordered in Feb., and the e-mail receipt shows [HASHTAG]#001222[/HASHTAG]. The number on the bottom cap is [HASHTAG]#4809[/HASHTAG]. I'm thinking that these serial numbers may not mean much.

Tell Miriam we are organizing a class action suite to kick the Greeks while the Germans hold them down. (LOL)
I don't think the number on the receipt is intended to be the serial number. I've ordered spare parts and they ([HASHTAG]#000XYZ[/HASHTAG]) listed next to them on the receipt and obviously spare parts like springs and contact pins don't have serial numbers on them.
Apparently not, since they are not anywhere on my device, and they would seem to be at a variance with the documentation from MMV in your case. All I can think is that the good people of MMV have been going through a pretty rough time of it, and procedures have slipped. Keep in mind they are having to move their shop into a smaller building amidst the turmoil of the Greek financial crisis, and discontinue the Poldiac line because of that, while trying to ramp up a new box mod, and I've heard that Miriam's house was broken into as well.
I am quite certain they are having a really rough time of it over there. Personally I would not want to be in their situation. It may be that we can ask them for bottom caps for our Poldiacs that have the correct serial numbers in time, but we have no real idea what they are going through. It can't be easy, of that I am sure.
No it doesn't. 000473 is my Aname Sleek number also. So it's probably the part number. However, the invoice for my Aname Sleek gives the serial number of the device,
I ordered, and received, a goodly amount of spare parts from MMV, and you are correct in that the number given for such parts is not significant as a serial number for a device. However, the invoice for my Aname Sleek gives the serial number of the device, which I take to be evidence of it's authenticity. That this serial number is nowhere on the device itself is cause for concern on my part, but I am willing to be patient and work this out with MMV.
