It arrived today. Isn't it beautiful?

My other 2 poldis are full satin classic - I'm not bothered about beauty and I don't like maintenance.

But the Aname is absolutely lovely; I might even try to keep it looking that way.

Yes it is! I wanted the Classic to start with, but once I had the Aname Sleek in my hand I was glad I didn't get the Classic. It's such a lovely mech, and with my authentic Kraken on it... my very favorite vape :)

You got me looking at my RW Classic that I ordered in Feb., and the e-mail receipt shows [HASHTAG]#001222[/HASHTAG]. The number on the bottom cap is [HASHTAG]#4809[/HASHTAG]. I'm thinking that these serial numbers may not mean much.

Apparently not, since they are not anywhere on my device, and they would seem to be at a variance with the documentation from MMV in your case. All I can think is that the good people of MMV have been going through a pretty rough time of it, and procedures have slipped. Keep in mind they are having to move their shop into a smaller building amidst the turmoil of the Greek financial crisis, and discontinue the Poldiac line because of that, while trying to ramp up a new box mod, and I've heard that Miriam's house was broken into as well.

I am quite certain they are having a really rough time of it over there. Personally I would not want to be in their situation. It may be that we can ask them for bottom caps for our Poldiacs that have the correct serial numbers in time, but we have no real idea what they are going through. It can't be easy, of that I am sure.

Tell Miriam we are organizing a class action suite to kick the Greeks while the Germans hold them down. (LOL)

I really don't think it would serve us to communicate such as that. Nor do I imagine that the good people of MMV would be at all helped by it. I think it best to stand by and await the outworking of events there in Greece and word from MMV in response to delicate inquiries.

I don't think the number on the receipt is intended to be the serial number. I've ordered spare parts and they ([HASHTAG]#000XYZ[/HASHTAG]) listed next to them on the receipt and obviously spare parts like springs and contact pins don't have serial numbers on them.

I ordered, and received, a goodly amount of spare parts from MMV, and you are correct in that the number given for such parts is not significant as a serial number for a device. However, the invoice for my Aname Sleek gives the serial number of the device, which I take to be evidence of it's authenticity. That this serial number is nowhere on the device itself is cause for concern on my part, but I am willing to be patient and work this out with MMV.

Are you refereeing to the ([HASHTAG]#000473[/HASHTAG]) listed on your invoice? And if so, how do you know that it is supposed to be the serial number? I can see why one would think it is but has it been confirmed that the number is supposed to be the serial number?

I ordered two Freddy Classics at once and my invoice looks just like yours except the number was ([HASHTAG]#001224[/HASHTAG]) and the quantity said 2 instead of 1. Obviously the ([HASHTAG]#001224[/HASHTAG]) can't be the serial number since i ordered two,it would have to have two of those numbers listed. I don't know what that number is for or how it is used in their system but i don't think it is supposed to be the serial number of the device. All my Poldiacs were purchased directly from MMVapors, all have serial numbers, and none of them match that number on the invoice.
