Thanks Nicole, that means a lot, coming from you! I still struggle to come up with ways to make my vape photography more interesting.
Things like framing, composition, and backgrounds. I'm getting better though. And a device like the Poldiac (and the MMV packaging)
makes it easier. :)

You're welcome, I enjoyed all of your pics very much, they made me smile. :) This is one of the reasons that vaping was such an easy hobby to take up, it gives me an outlet for creative expression. Keep taking pics, and trying out new things ... every vapeporn pic I take is an experiment of sorts, some come out better than others but its all fun to me. :D

Oops. Meant to post moar photos. This thing, unsurprisingly, walks all over the clone I've got. Feels better/made better in every respect.

Hooray!! Got home early today and couldn't wait to unwrap it! Holy wrap job batman, lol!!! Here she is in 18350 mode with my Lemo drop on top with some ITCVapes vanilla custard in it. Only problem is when in the hell am I going to remember that it's not a bottom fire mod & quit trying to push the bottom of it! LMAO! I didn't even have to mess with the center pin, my Lemo screwed on perfectly.

Very cool, glad yours made it in safe too :) Looks good with the Lemo! Don't feel bad about hitting the bottom for a button, I still do it even after a couple weeks of having mine, seems to be a hard habit to break if we're use to bottom button firing mods LOL

My two favorite mechanical mods are my Poldiacs and my Nanos. It sure took a long time for me to not get mixed up on the switch location when moving from one mod to the other. I think what helps is that I use a "vape band" at the top of the battery tube on the Poldiacs and it seems to draw my hand to the correct location for the switch.

Congrats to everyone on getting their new toys.

Got the OverOne set up and it's damn great. Loads of flavor, airflow is smooth and whooshy. The option to make person weather systems is there, but I close it down a bit to make it into a flavor atty. I've got it at .45 Ohms. I think I might rebuild it to about .3 though. It's such a quiet, reserved lil' atty. But it still puts out. Dang that sounds dirrrrty.... :D

I have found that .3 ohms is my sweet spot on the OverOne.

I tried a different way of placing the coils in the OverOne last night and it was a big time failure. I placed the coils up higher than I had ever done before. I had the bottom of the coils level with the center of the air slot, thinking the airflow would go up around both the front and back of the coils.
What happened however is that the airflow just went under the coil and came up the center post. I got about 25% of the vapor I normally get from the OverOne. I pressed the coils down and 100% vapor production returned.
Lesson learned........

Yes it is  Do you know if the first Kainos has been released yet?

Yes they have been supplied to the customers who ordered them early on.
Here is a post that was on MMVapors facebook page that was posted on march 2nd. " Thanks MMV... Loving my new Kainos. #26"

They have just listed a 26650 battery version Kainos for sale on MMV website.

I have sent a design of mine to Jim for a dual 18650 wood box mod with the new Yihi J temp control board/chip. I have not heard back from him yet, but I know he is thinking of a dual battery mod. I am not sure which board/chip he is thinking about using. I really hope he goes with my idea for the temp control one.
If any of you want such a mod, it can not hurt to let Jim know. He does listen to his customer's wants.

Well this is my post #1000 and I decided this thread is where I wanted it to be as the Poldiac was the first authentic mod I purchased and is my favorite mechanical mod.

I am not sure if all of you know of the lottery that MMVapors has every month or so on their forum on their website. You use your order numbers as a "ticket". Each order number gives you an entry into the lottery. They give away some nice prizes to the winner, often a new release that is just coming out.
