The did as well as any thing else put by MMV is anything but cheap
The only reason to by a repayment top cap is if you get cute with a drill. Yeah, you get " bigger clouds" w/ a larger airhole but flavor and vapor density suffers. Not for me.
The threads on the top cap are pretty fine but I haven't had an issue w/ um. The threading issue I had was w/ the 510 on a different mod.
Well, I got my all-brass Poldiac a few minutes ago and it works great but there is a problem - it has some pretty big scratches in the finish. Has anyone else gotten theirs in this condition? This is rather disappointing considering the price.

-Followed RiP Tripper's tutorial, but modified it to PK.
-Zero prep other than breaking the wick to size, which you can see I came up short. (Still learning)

It does happen. Take a good picture of it ASAP, contact MMV via email and ask them to send you out replacement part as soon as possible. Maybe ask about there return policy to bluff them a bit, prob hear from them on Monday.

Not to sound like "the Dude" here, but it was a bummer man....
I emailed them already asking whether or not this is normal and offered to send a picture. It is kind of weird, though - it isn't really a scratch in the finish, per se, but when you rotate it under a light a 1/2" long scrape is visible. You can't feel it if you run your finger over it, and you can't see it at all if you don't look at it straight on...not sure if that makes sense. I have never had a brass mod before so maybe this is normal.....
I don't think it's normal.. I have the brass pants/shirt for all tube lengths, and I looked at all of them, and I don't see any scratches. I hope MMVapors helps you out here. I heard they have decent customer service. I've never had to use the customer service so I can't speak from first hand experience. Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback. It is just the "shirt" tube (the one around the button) so it won't cost them much to make it right. We shall see....
In the meantime, here it is. I have a couple RBAs on the way but until then I am using a Killer 705 in drip mode - quite a nice pairing I think.

Same here. Wish the DID was available when I placed my order. Could've saved myself on shipping.
Same with me. I wanted to order some stainless pants and shirt with mine but none were in stock; I have a feeling UPS is going to make some money off me over the next month, especially if I order a DID this weekend....and then the pants and shirt when in stock. LOL...
