I got into a problem folks.
The test JD's were made from aluminum and the final ones should have been made from stainless steel. It turns out it's not possible to make them from SS the way I designed them so they need a redesign to make them from SS.

Timeframe for redesign? Will you release the new L without the JD?
A first idea will be tried on monday. Depending on a possible redesign of the top cap too, I think 1-2 weeks to accomodate for testing too.

That video is showing how liquid activates the switch, something I discovered earlier, but I was under the impression from the title that it wasn't going to do that. So the new switches will still be activated by liquid/moisture?

Yes, but because of the way they are made, just wiping them off with the finger will solve the problem.

If they were made from aluminum then dropping any part of it on the floor could damage it. Not a big risk if it's assembled, but much greater when it's taken apart.
