All remaining L's are ready and tested, should start shipping soon when payment clears.
M and S are now in the works, still need to catch up a lot on them. I hope all will be ready by next monday (21st June).

The new PCB's will get the final go and should arrive in 2 weeks, so the new L's are expected to ship in 3 weeks.

Some juice dispenser news: i just hope to have a big surprise in the next 2 weeks. If not going as expected, at least it will be a smaller surprise.

Ok, I have discovered something about our beloved Precious. I have been having problems with my Precious (doesn't matter what size, all do this), when outside and when it's HOT, (it's HOT and humid here everyday, 90+F) the switch gets stuck on VERY easy. I'm assuming it's either the heat, humidity, or both that cause moisture to keep the switch on. It doesn't just happen when I'm using it, if left in my pocket (pants) it will set itself off. When inside (air conditioned) this problem goes away.

Anyone else experience this?

I am in Virginia and have not had problems. However, I have not been spending days on the golf course or out on my motorcycle recently. It has been hot 90+ f and high humidity +90% here also. Are you spending a lot of time outside and using it? Are you sweating profusely?

The -U will have the double tap on/off setup, so that should address the issue. I believe Caesar will probably incorporate that into future versions also...

I do work outside, I also go in and out of A/C. I have stopped using my Precious when working or going out for any amount of time. It got to the point where even when my Precious wasn't in my pocket, I kept feeling (pseudo) hot spikes in the pocket where I kept it. Kinda like sometimes thinking your phone is vibrating when it isn't.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Precious(s), they rock, but just aren't perfect. Kinda like it's namesake.

Mine finally arrived yesterday...

Between the USPS and the RPS, I thought there I was on a blacklist.

Fantastic device! I dare say it was even worth the wait I had to go through.

Made the mistake of having juice on my finger when I touched the switch already, but having been to a local BBQ joint earlier, I had some wet-naps in my pocket and that took care of that real quick.

Here's the thing I don't understand, the vapor seems hotter than my own 18650 box mod. The difference in switch resistance means a slightly, very slight, increase in current. Given the formula and the numbers plugged in to get Watts, there does not seem to be a significant gain, but I can feel a difference.

High Drain batteries give an even hotter vapor when freshly charged, but quickly settle down to the same vape as the more typical 18650. Have not had a chance to throw a HV atty on and try the 6V configuration, but I can say that a regular atty and 6V is too much heat. Overwhelms the flavor too quickly. I need the flavor. TH is great, but flavor is where the satisfaction is at for me.

Casear, great job. I know that if I had attempted this mod that I would have gone a different route with the threads, but the configuration you have minimizes size without compromising the fit. Very impressed with the potting of the PCB! Better than stuff I have seen come from designs I have done for Telecomm companies, proper potting seems to come more from a caring craftsman than any spec I throw in a drawing. The care taken in this device shows in every detail.

Really? Well cool then. Will save my money, though I was only slightly interested. I still am waiting on Caesar's new creation... and in the meantime have been enjoying my old dead atties @6v in my precious -L since I ran out of "good" atomizers.

i see this morning that my precious made it into ny customs, thats not bad at all ,the precious was mailed out on the 1st and 5 days later its at customs,now i have to wait and see how long its going to sit there before it goes out, my chinese orders only sit there for a day or so, must be a little different from europe i guess, but ill have it soon

Caesar, I was inspired enough by your work on my The Precious that I had to make a belt clipped holster that is befitting of it's looks. Managed some of my best edge work around the hand stitching of the leather for me to date.
