Whatever it is, I can't get the visual of Tina talking to a Latino person replacing her L's with R's and insulting the hell out of them. :)

It's the only foreign accent I know, so it's used for everyone. Like when she comes over, I say "YOU.....WANT.....DRINK?" and it's also accompanied with hand signals like I'm speaking to a 2 year old.

But again, why an accent at all? HAHAHAHAHAHA. I am sorry, this is f*^$ing funny!

Springsteen said something once about the line (revved up like a deuce), like it wasn't a real big hit until Manfred Mann rewrote it to be about a feminine hygiene product.

I still don't know what the "Blinded by the Light" lyric means.........even though I know what it sounds like he says and what "they say" it says.

Can I buy a vowel Alex

I want to fit in? I dunno why? Why do I talk super loud to them too? I can't figure it out...so I do my best to avoid the situation.

I wonder if that's why Madonna, who's from Detroit, suddenly had a British accent for awhile. I guess I can see her fitting in there but why she continued it in the states is beyond me.

Everytime I try to do a southern accent, I end up sounding partially Canadian and partially Asian. I can't speak nor understand a thick southern accent.

**Note to self** don't talk to Angi. Repeat...don't talk to Angi. I don't have the hillbilly "Get Er Done" kinda accent. I have a Gone with the Wind kind of accent.

I'm good with accents. I don't do them at people that HAVE them, but I kinda freak people out sometimes.
If I'm in the right mood, I can do a perfect "Shrek" kinda Scottish.

I learned enough Russian to say things like "Can you help me find my hotel" and "I would like a beer" before travelling to Moscow once - and FOUR TIMES while I was there, people thought I was LYING when I told them I couldn't understand them - because I said "I'm sorry, I can't understand you, I don't speak Russian" in such a perfect Russian accent.
LOL

So, why don't you start talking to foreigners in a southern accent? You can keep the "slow" part and the hand signals :)

Well because my Asian for everyone accent doesn't drag out the words like my real southern accent does. It's short words, but loud and a lot of time in between each one (my everyone Asian accent).
