REALLY? Ya'll seriously made my head hurt. I said out as in out the house - not dead as in dead.
I don't know why he started pee'g on my sons' stuff but he couldn't take it anymore - so kitty had to go.
I think he's been doing it cause as soon as a door opens he runs outside so maybe he felt he needed to mark his territory.
I just saw him about an hr ago. Poor thing looks like he joined a cat gang & all of them were standing around guarding him like I was going to take him from them.
He'll be on the porch in the morning- I'll be calling a vet to try to figure out why he's doing this.
My son doesn't miss him but I do.

Well, that answers that!!! I thought he put him "down" 'cuz he pee'd on his stuff. Whew!!! I think it's a territorial thing.

Girl...if you are saying on and own and they sound the same....you're completely missing the W in own. Didn't think "the silent W" applies in spoken English. And no...I don't say ruff unless I'm say rough.

It's a joke... That's how southern people talk. Just like root, some say "rut"... My grandpa was born in WV and his favorite phrase is "and that there"... For the longest time our nickname for him was AT&T

OH..no wonder I didn't get it, I can't understand people w/southern accents and apparently can't read southern typing either.

Male cats tend to do that for some odd reason, whether they're fixed or not. All male cats I've had or known of do that crap. Which is why I got a female cat this last time... and she doesn't do that.

I've had 3 male cats- none of them did this.
My plan was to call the vet today but I dropped my bank card inside the frame of an ATM machine today - getting it out was ummmm....interesting.
