Perfect! And thank you both for the service. It's not easy serving in the military, even in "peace time". It can be just as hard on military families. Speaking as a vet and a military brat, I appreciate it.

Well I never met him till years after he was a Marine (though he always says "once a Marine, always a Marine!"). Can you believe his first wife wanted to GO HOME... from a posting in HAWAII????   Stupid, stupid woman.

EDIT: Ok I was kinda busy for a while, and just realized that I didn't make a new challenge -- I bet some of you must have some vapemail either on the way or just arrived today -- I don't care about the mailbox, but #231, let's see your mod next to some just-arrived piece of vapemail -- you can blank out the personal details.

Sorry!

Iz all good! I'm getting my first order of MBV juice today. However, I won't be home until around 7:30pm to claim it. I'm loyal to Nicoticket but I have a friend who is from WA and swears by their juice. Worth a shot, I mean 90mL's for $30? That's fantastic. Also have some CLS and my first bottle of The Virus on the way. Fingers crossed on The Virus... I haven't been sick in years. *Knocks on wood*

The Virus is freakin' awesome. I got my first bottle ~3 weeks ago, and I re-ordered a second one VERY quickly. It definitely gets better with time (I've noticed bourbon flavors are present now, and they weren't in the beginning) but fresh out of the box it was still REALLY good. They say this juice changes hourly, but I can't necessarily agree with that. A night of steeping does make a pretty drastic difference though, flavors will change from vanilla to cinnamon to bourbon... Crazy e-juice.

Also MBV is my stand-by. 45$ for a 236mL? YES PLEASE.

I'm just getting over a cold, which is every bit as annoying in my nose, sinuses, and throat as any cold ever was, BUT, it did not affect my lungs AT ALL -- and this is the first time THAT has happened in 40 yrs. :thumb:

Here's a tip, though -- for anyone who usually vapes very-high-PG, as I do... you might want to ease up on the PG just a little, if you catch a cold; I was vaping 90% PG when I first got the cold, and within a couple days, my throat was bright red and very painful, and my nasal passages and sinuses also felt completely raw -- and now my nose and throat feel "crusted" in the immediate aftermath. The high PG doesn't bother me a bit when I'm well, but with a cold going on, the irritation was horrible, and the nasal passages so raw and then crusted, a lot of nosebleeds, everytime I have to blow my nose -- which of course is quite often with a cold. I eased back down to 80% PG, and it started feeling a little better. Now back to 85% PG, and just wishing all the stuff that came WITH the cold would hurry up and vacate! Still, 2 wks for a cold to run its full course beats the hell out of cold+6 wks of coughing-up.

Heh, I realized pretty quickly that the natural harshness/additional throat-hit that comes from high-PG liquids is not for me. I've been maxVG for a while now. In my tanks, I add some nicotine+PG to thin up my e-liquids. I like the high VG, it's almost "hydrating" in a way. A good toke on some maxVG menthol/mint e-liquid clears my sinuses right up, and I like the feeling of the condensation in my nose/throat.

To each his/her own though!

Even 80/20 makes me wheeze at night after I've been vaping it all day, which is why I had to go back to 85% PG. My throat was so bad, I was really wishing I could go to 50/50 while I was sick, but being unable to breathe wouldn't have helped any, so I made do with 80% for a day, then went back to 85% the next day. The VG *is* more soothing, I think it has emollient properties, but it's every bit as hygroscopic as PG -- total opposite of hydrating. I learned that back when I was having that "cankle" problem, and had been saying it was because of my high-PG vaping -- but turns out, VG is just as dehydrating, it's just not as irritating.

I'm not sure why anyone hasn't completed this challenge yet...

This is called a Mola Mola and I got to scuba with one when sailing the Galápagos Islands. They are soooooo cool and a gentle giant indeed.

They are totally sick! I had never seen anything like them before. Yeah, that was the best scuba I've done. Plenty more on the list though! Ha ha much respect to another fellow diver and gamer! PS4?

Edit: Looks like I have to reissue challenge 235...

Great challenge, PV w/fish. Mine would have been completely different since it's my mod in the fish box for scale. I didn't want to post it since they're not my favorite fish: Red Snapper and Amber Jack.

I've seen sunfish in the Gulf while fishing. I even managed to get some murky underwater video of one by sticking my hand over the gunwale, but it's hard to see the head fish.

Challenge 235: A picture of your setup and your favorite piece of clothing.

This is pretty much all we like to wear anymore. At least when it's not below 60 F.

Challenge 236: Your PV and some excersize equipment. Well worn, new, or rusty and neglected. Just gettin' our minds ready for pig-out season

Challenge 236 revised: Your PV with a model. No, not a fashion model (this time ;) ). A scale model of some sort. Does not have to be an exact replica, but bonus points if it is.
