I'll play then! Been an avid golfer for 25+ years now, I keep my clubs within arms reach of my perch at the computer. :)

Challenge #65: A picture of your current setup on top of a TIG welding machine.

That's a pretty specific challenge, I hope someone playing has one! lol May have to swing by the Mechanical Engineering lab for this if no one else gets it.

Man I want to play! (golf I mean) I have not hit the links in soooo long, my poor callaways are rotting away :( guaranteed I need new grips.

Does this mean you don't want to play the game? *sadface*

Yeah, I have no idea what that is, let alone where to find it.

done.

Awesome! Nicely done.

Does the not-so-super hero from frozen count? (Yeah yeah, I've got granddaughters ok! ? )

Now, next challenge is a picture with a vintage computer from the 1980s or older.... (Atari, Apple, Commodore, Amiga, Old x86)

Ha ha it's up to the challenge creator! I would accept it! Olaf is kind of a hero!

Ooh! I have an Atari back at home! Plus like 60 games!! Hopefully no one gets it before 6:30pm.

Awesome job on the TIG welder challenge Salers, Also awesome job on the request for the next challenge Phone Guy! Now I have to go raid the attic at my parents house and find all of my awesome old childhood stuff. I know I've got a Commodore 64, Colecovision, Atari 2600 & 5200 in there somewhere collecting dust amongst a ton of other obsolete electronics, Somewhere in there I've got this really old 8" monitor from the early 80's that is advertised as "LOW Radiation", it doesn't say NO radiation...just LOW Hahahaha. How great can a product be when the redeeming feature that is advertised on the outside case is "LOW Radiation". Oh, the 80's...

Oh no, I want to play the PV Picture game, just thought I'd reply to subscribe and express my love (miss the love) for the game of golf too.... so are we at a picture of a mod with a tig welder or a superhero? An older geek who has golfed at some point in his life, Phone Guy...we would get along great. I can see it now.

Froth, sound like we would brother! and I would have to do the exact same thing... Here is a blast from the past list of then state of the art personal computing....at my parents house I still have, assuming my mom didnt throw it out, (wait for it) my Atari 400 with soft membrane keyboard, Atari 800 with traditional hard clicky press keyboard (which were PC's, not game consoles BTW, and they hooked up to a regular TV/monitor thru RCA jack video out, like the yellow connector people are familiar with nowadays, at least 1 external disk drive with double density 5.25" floppy diskettes, Atari Mega ST4 with a whopping 4mb of RAM that I upgraded to 8MB by manually hand soldering additional memory chips stacked piggyback style on top of the others, the Mega 9" or 12" color RGB monitor (cant remember the size), Epson dot matrix printer with the fiber optic 1 line (pixel) at a time B/W (grayscale) scanner that was RS232 connected... My Magicsack Apple Macintosh emulator with eeprom MAC rom chips!! complete with the label stickers over the glass window on the chips to prevent them from erasing or getting corrupt from the light!! Thats what I can remember is still there, I think I sold off my Amiga(s), Apple's and Mac's (yes there was a difference back then).... There might be more I cant remember....? Oh yeah and a external SCSI SyQuest drive that had the then ENORMOUS 88mb removable 5.25" cartridge... (wow that was fun remembering that stuff), if you read that and know what it was, your in your >40's and were really into computers early on... if you don't know what that stuff was, and are <20s now you know how WE feel when we hear you talk to your friends in modern teenage short hand lingo!

Somewhere in my pile of junk I have an SCSI 1gb External JAZZ Drive(No, not ZIP!!) with like 10 extra 1gb disks, when the main household computer was 133mhz w/ an 800mb HDD that JAZZ drive was a godsend!!! In 1993 I helped my dad fish SCSI cables through the entire house to "network" the scanners and printers throughout the house, so many hilarious memories I can't even begin to list them all. Good times!

Edit: I was extremely fortunate to have a super tech savvy father, somewhere I also still have my 200 baud commodore modem, freaking 200 baud!!!! and I was giddy like a schoolgirl for it, then OMG 300 baud!!! I didn't even know what to do with myself!!!

NEW CHALLENGE: post a picture of your mod with any vintage electronics...... :?: you decide what vintage means.

lol thanks man. :) Sorry, I guess we just don't have enough people yet. I don't know why! This game could be so fun with a lot of people playing...

Well, for when I was born (post 1990), this is pretty vintage...

I also have an N64 floating around here somewhere...

Challenge 68: Post a picture with your mod/apv with something from your favorite holiday.

I used to have the original Nintendo - was called Famicom and was only sold in Japan.

When I heard they were releasing a game in the States I thought great a bigger selection - no such luck - different type of cartridge.

Ha ha, nice one, I was trying to find the original GameBoy that I had right after it came out, still remember how happy I was to pick that bad boy up, still works too! It was too buried under stuff for me to find though unfortunately.
