So, is it safe to say that the Butterfly is nowhere near as sweet as the vape Rite VR4??

Apples and oranges. The two juices aren't similar, and each has its own particular kind of sweetness. Also, the sweetness of the gooey caramel in VR4 fades out over time. After about six months, it's an entirely different juice than when it was fresh.

I don't like VR4 nearly as much after two to three months of aging/steeping. That's why it gets only a B+ grade from me. Fresh, it's astonishing. Older, not so much.

I'm going to guess that you'll like Butterfly's RY4.

If it (or any other juice) is too sweet for your palate, get a bottle of FlavourArt Bitter Wizard, which is designed to cut the sweetness of eliquids and does a bang-up job of that. Use it with restraint, though. For a 10ml bottle of juice that's too sweet, a mere four or five drops of Bitter Wizard is more than enough to kill the excess sweetness.

Thanks a lot for the help. "Too sweet" might not be the most accurate way of putting it, as you eluded to earlier. The "wrong kind" of sweetness, for me personally, might be better wording.

Butterfly's 60% off was too good to pass up, I bought 2 60ml RY4's (18mg), 2 30ml Pina Colada (12mg) & 2 10ml Pumpkin Cappuccino (12mg) and all 60/40 (PG/VG), $39.80 with shipping.

Half will get shipped to my Sister in NY as her birthday present, I hope she can handle the RY4 18mg Nic, and I figured if Bill's ordering an RY4 it really has to be good.

What's really funny about that is that I swear up and down repeatedly (and sometimes on the thread) that I will not buy any more RY4s. What the heck, I have a big enough stash of RY4 (2.5 liters of it) to keep an army supplied for a couple years.

Then someone posts on the thread about an RY4 that hasn't been reviewed and isn't on The Big List. Sometimes I weaken, renig, and order some to review. Luckily, that's down to about once every two months or so.

With Butterfly's RY4, the combination of its being very good and dirt cheap on sale was enough to make me break my own rule. If only I'd stopped there... But noooo, I also ordered a 30ml bottle of ITCVapes RY4 (also on sale for $5.75). Oh well, all my RY4s will probably succumb to Juice Alzheimer's eventually. I hope to outlive them. LOL.

I've been vaping MVJ's "Our Ry4 today. I made a mistake ordering this, I actually meant to order Rogue Ry4, but this is nice. Good tobacco flavor and a decent caramel in the background. If I didn't know better I would say this is a NET vape. I have very limited experience with NETs so I'm really looking forward to trying their Rogue RY4.

Nope, Our RY4 isn't a NET, but it is a very good RY4. Diane sent me a sample of it with my order and I think I vaped it up quicker than what I ordered.

Cameron of Mr Vape is wonderful. I order 20/80 pg/vg and ask for a drop of extra flavor. One order (RY4 of course) I forgot to ask, to me the flavor was a little dull. So I contacted Tommy and Cameron, asked if I ordered another 15 ml could Cameron add flavor so I could mix my 2 15 ml bottles and get my wonder juice. Well, he did and I was back in the happy zone! Just received my 30 ml order with 20% off, had to order more with 50% off. I haven't been vaping long enough to have considered Black Friday deals. I ordered a 50ml bottle of this stuff and it arrived yesterday, oh well. Hopefully it's as delicious as you say. I'm gonna let it steep about two weeks, is that about right? Also got some Wild Peach tobacco.

My post wasn't aimed at you, but rather at the quoted section.

I've got nothing against Dekang RY4. Heck, my 50ml bottle of Dekang RY4 from 2011 gets an A- grade from me on The Big RY4 Report Card. I'm just on a crusade to correct the misimpression held by many vapers that Dekang RY4 was the original, so every time I see that stated in writing as if it were fact, I get on my little soap box and wave my arms around, saying "No, No, NO!"

Seeing the quoted post again, I couldn't help myself. I had to say, "Not so fast..." There must be a thousand posts like that one on ECF.

I'm totally with you Bill I do appeciate your reviews and advice very much.
