Oh, I thought the whole idea of the atty/reo was HV dripping? Otherwise, it's like wagonwheels on a Rolls/Royce using an atty instead of a carto on a Reo.

The beauty of the REO is it can be anything you want it to be. Mine became an airplane with cartos on it.

I have to admit I am kind of confused by this statement ....

Are you by chance under the impression that only cartomizers can be bottom fed and atomizers need dripping ??
Atomizers are fed just like cartomizers on a REO ....
Otherwise not sure what you mean.

I love cartomizers on my REO, but I still consider atomizers to be the better of the two.

I was just j/k around, didn't mean to offend. I was under the impression the bottom feeders fed up to an atty and it was imitating dripping. When it seemed like the thread was about using an atty/cart combo, then yeah, I believe a carto beats attys anyday.

Lol, if I didn't explain it well, can we just drop it?? I butted into to this thread and offended some and I apologize.

I've only had my mini reo for a bit over a week...love cartos on it. 'Course I've been a carto gal since day 1 and I never really learned to use an atty. (flooded, good- mmm, too dry, flooded, repeat, argh). Figured atties would be great on the reo and that i'd finally learn...but, heck the cartos work great, so haven't bothered- yet.

Have to say I really like the Boge Cartos. I posted this in my 5 day reflection on my new Mini. I have two Cisco 510 2ohm attys on the way. I think I effectively destroyed my 1.5's. Actually tonight, I have resorted to testing my new juices that arrived yesterday on standard 901's on a pass though. Its no Reo. I have found however tonight that I like the sampler bluemist sent me. Yes... i know, Bluemist, but darn it thier prices are awesome! Anyway they sent a sample of Blackjack, which i cant find on thier site, but I really like it!

I am beginning to wonder if I should have ordered LR 901's. Wheres that credit card.... sigh.

I added some vanilla blend juice to some Bluemist caramel tobacco juice and totally ruined it. Oh well, I'm gonna vape it anyway.

This Robs Blackjack is similar to thier robacco, but with a vanilla taste to it, and a little sweet spice. I may have to order a little bigger bottle and test it in a LR cart.

I've been vaping for almost two years and my three main PVs are The Precious, Provari and my beloved Reo Grand. I was always a dripper and would never consider a bulky tank, at least not at this stage of the game or maybe never because of the Reo. I even owned a Precious L-V2, one of the most rare and sought after top-feeders but would take a Reo any day over it.

OK, so I got that intro out of the way. After all the reading I decided to try cartomizers on the Reo and headed to CCV to get some Boges. Keep in mind I've used all sorts of attys and currently favor the Ikenvape LR306 on my Reo. I've never used a cartomizer. While at CCV I saw their CCV 1.7 ohm cartomizers. The 1.7 and reviews swayed me and I ordered a box thinking if I didn't like them I would go back and try the Boge. I wanted to see which I preferred before ordering the 15 deal.

I'm on day two with these and I think I like them. I'm not sure I like them as much as an Iken LR306 but they certainly show promise.

My question is for any who have used these and LR Boge's. How would you compare them?

Also I thought the Boge LR was 2 ohm but saw a post referring to Boge 1.8 ohm cartomizers.??

Amount of vapor, draw (lighter/stiffer), longevity and battery life? How do the CCV 1.7 and Boge LR compare?

Also CCV doesn't state ohms for the Boge, just LR and Standard. I'm guessing these are 2.0 ohm?

    Thanks

I have Boge Lr cartos, and on my multimeter they register between 2.3 and 2.4, but I think you are supposed to knock off .5 for some reason (saw it in a basilray video so I would trust it) making it 1.8. I guess on a better multimeter sometimes they would read 2.25 or so, thus making them around 1.7 ohm. at least this is my experience. can't really compare, as I am new to the 510 connection and fairly new to vaping, all that I can say is these cartos do the trick. But I've never even USED an atomizer before soo...

Thanks Sammy but what I'm really wanting to know is how the two compare.

What you probably saw was someone referring to subtracting the resistance of your leads. Set your meter to measure ohms and then touch one lead to the other. Whatever that reads subtract from the atty reading.
So if your leads measure .3 you would subtract that from your 2.3 or 2.4.

datacreek: it's all about individual preferences, IMO. You may or may not like the Boge LR cartos and you won't know till you try one. I've got a bunch and every time I measure the resistance on a new one, it hits 2.0 Ω on the money.

I hope that helps. It didn't seem very helpful as I was typing.
