You nailed it Mudflap ..... Vaping is a try-it yourself kinda hobby.
In other words you haven't tried both and cannot make a comparison.

I can tell you the difference between a VV, joye 510, between a 306 and a 510, a vg juice and a pg juice, etc, etc, etc. I can compare things without telling you what you will like but I can make a comparison and then you can make a judgment on my remarks.

Fair enough. I have tried Boge LR cartos and the CCV dual coil XL's, but those were 1.5 Ω and you were asking about 1.7 Ω, so I don't have the info you're requesting.

I've been killing Boge LR carts after a few days on my grand. I'm curious if I'm over filling them, I'll blind squonk a few times till I see the top of the polyfill looks like slush. I'm starting to think this is to much? After about a day and a half the poly fill starts to look like its getting dark, then eventually it'll get to be really tough to hit then I'll start getting the burnt taste at which point I've been tossing them. I don't vape much more than about 1-2ml a day so I'm feeling these should be lasting me longer. Any suggestions?
Prefill before using one new out of the wrapper and let it soak in a good while. When you squonk, just add a little bit of juice along with a light inhale, and squonk less often. Don't worry about the polyfill looking dry when you peer into the top of the carto. As long as vapor and flavor are good, your carto is good. When you draw on it, you're pulling juice from the bottom towards the top, if it's not super saturated with juice.
Big Hitter said previously "less is more" and he's right, as usual.
BTW, I've been guilty of over juicing my cartos many times over. The Reo makes it easy to do.
great info in here. I can't wait to throw some cartos on my reo when i get it. sounds like it'll be amazing experience, which is nice cuz i'm a carto lover.
My preference is starting to shift to the cartos, they have been dominating time on my Reos.
Leaking, not feeding right, flooding, dry hits, dead $10 attys... The cartos solve most of these problems.

yah i get about 2 weeks now and am guessing with the ability to keep the carto good and wet that i might be able to even get a little longer out of them.
Actually after two weeks I've been throwing 'em on my Provari which I'm starting to use less with the Reo/Carto combo.
You can go longer than two weeks. The draw does get stiff but if you get a long needle and stick it through the bottom you can widen the air flow channel which has become constricted due to the polyfill expanding. You can get at least another week out of 'em.
Toss them in a box and when you feel a need, boil them to clean the polyfill and who knows...

Well each to their own. But the 1.7's (true LR) from CCV hold 2 ml compared to almost 1 ml plus 15 for $20 with free shipping, no adapter needed, a free drip-tip or two and a free syringe to boot.
Best deal and unbelievable vaping carto, and I'm used to good vape. Own a Precious and a ProVari and did own a Precious L-v2, but I'm loving the Reo/1.7 CCV carto combo.

I gotta mix it up. I jump around with various attys and LR Boge cartos. I'm like a vaping Sybil.
