I am going to try a bloog max fusion cartomizer in a few days. I have a boge 2.0 carto on one Grand now, been working since Monday (5 days) now. It seems to be working real well and not using as much juice like BigHitter says. It does take a little practice on squonking.

I've used a few on mine. While I think they work perfectly on a KR808 batt, they were not that great on the REO.
Pretty good, but not worth the added risk of an adaptor IMHO.

Since I got a new shipment of Boge 510 cartos that plan has been shelved :)
Glad you shared your carto experiences with us new people too!

I assume someone here has used Bauway cartos on their Grand. Did you have any problem with fit/function? I just bought some and found that if I screw them on all the way (not tight) I get very little draw but if I loosen them I get better draw but an unsatisfactory vape. They work fine on my other bottom feeder though. I didn't really need 3 boxes of these to use on other mods since I seldom use anything but my Grand. Unless I can mod these somehow to work well, I will be short carto's when I leave on vacation next week. Gr-r-r-r.

Recommendation for somewhere that I could expect delivery from in 4 days or less that carry Boge cartos at a reasonable price?

It seems I have been converted to a cartomizer user on my REO Grands.

I thought I would give my input on the subject.

Let me start by saying I went almost 4 months with a REO Grand and atomizers.
I used Cisco attys almost exclusively .... 510s and 306s in both 1.5Ω and 2.0Ω
I never felt the need to try a cartomizer on it.

Then I found the Boge 2Ω cartomizers and started using them on some other mods.
The vapor is awesome and some juices actually taste better with the cartos than attys.

So I popped one on the Grand and gave it a try....

How I use them:

I start with a filled cartomizer 20-25 drops for the Boge (I fill over time... maybe two hours)
I also fill a few at a time so they are all loaded ready to go.

I only squonk the bottle every 6-8 hits. It never really needs it, but I am trying to keep the carto fully topped off at all time.

I do the "blind squonk" method. Squeezing the bottle while drawing on the cartomizer.
As soon as I feel resistance in the air flow I let up.

By doing this every 6-8 hits the cartomizer stays full for me. I can pop off my drip tip and the top of the carto is always wet .... Never white filler showing.

Why I like it:

First and foremost is the lighter draw.
Next would be consistency. The same hit every time. Never flooded / never dry !!
Also the ease of use, its pretty much fool proof IMO.

I guess you could flood one, but it has never happened with my method.
By blind squonking the bottle my catch cup stays dry all the time... all the juice goes in the carto.
No more worrying about a few drops running down the side of the mod in my pocket.

And finally .... no more cleaning atomizers.
I have been getting 6-7 days or 24ml (4 Grand bottles) of juice out of each cartomizer.
Then pitch it in the trash and pop on a fresh filled one :)

All I have tried is the Boge 2Ω cartos at 3.7v but I suspect the 3Ω would be a good vape at 6v

The only reason I did not LOVE cartomizers was the constant re-filling needed.
The REO eliminates that hassle completely !!

If you hate cartomizers there is no need to give them a try I guess.
But if you use them on other devices and your only complaint is topping them off all the time....
Give one a try on your REO Grand or Mini and see if they work for you.

Another reason the REO is the best / most versatile mod out there !!

When you say...

As soon as I feel resistance in the air flow I let up.....

Are you activating the device when you do this? Or Not?
Thanks

Not. It's easy to flood a carto on a Reo. Less is more. :thumb:

I just tried the IKV "gold V2" cartos .... not impressed. Glad I only bought 10 of them.
the draw is really tight on the woodvil ... less so on the grand or mini

They are 2.5Ω so I thought they would be nice for the woodvil when my 2Ω seem a touch hot.
But that is the one REO they work the worst on ... Oh well.

I'm really liking the Boge LR cartos on my mini reo!
I haven't tried blind squonking to refill the cartos. Instead I've been using a piece cut from the carto cover slid down over the air holes when i need/want to top off the carto (saw it in one of redeye dancer's videos). I pushed the first carto a bit too long. After 10 days and 10+ ml, the draw had gotten very, very tight- but even so there was no burning or charring on the filler- though the coil was a mess.

Where's that video....I'd like to see it.
