I've been running the same flavor in both a Boge 2Ω and a resurrector for the last 5 days.
The smoketek does make good vapor but I get more carto flavor and less juice flavor with them.

They would do in a pinch but they don't beat the Boge in my book.

I'll keep trying though, maybe someday something better will come along.
I found that the flavor of the juice plays a big part in how it's going to taste in either the boge or the smoketech. It's comparable to how one would use a cisco 2.0 or 1.5. The "resurrectors" IMO do well with tobacco flavors and anything else will become a bit muted due to the added heat.

Just my 2 cents
Do you guys throw away the boge carto at the end of the week and top a new one?

Cheers!

Yeah, I'll throw them out if there is a drop in performance. Wanna make everything as simple as possible. Cleaning and waiting for a carto to dry has become to much of a hassle for me. It's just easier to toss it in the garbage and move on to the next.

Plus, I wanna get through some specific types to move on to the next. My goal.....to try every single type of carto that seems to be popular or the "best" to find out the strengths and weaknesses of each. It's my hobby within a hobby....

Ok, that had nothing to do with anything...moving on LOL

I have been using the resurrectors all weekend. They are not as consistent as boges for flavor IMO. My cinnimon bun is awesome in them. Blackjack not so much. As for vapor they are very good. They do have a th increase also but I am one who does not need a lot of th. I will be getting more but based on the flavor change with one of my favorite juices I will still be getting more boges.

Well, everyone has their own preferences. But, as I was saying on my last post. The flavor you use will depend on how well you taste it with the increased heat that these resurrectors make. Juices that are mellow/lacking in flavor will get drowned out. It's like people's reasons for disliking cisco 1.5 atties.

I compared cartos for best flavor with the most delicate juice I own - KBV's Mama's Angel Wings Rice Pudding.
All cartos were soaked over night.

My results were:

#1. CCV's stainless Resurrector 1.7 (dual carto)
#2. Smoktech's dual carto 1.5ish
#3. Boge 2.0

The Resurrector has an airy flow and I could taste layers of flavors.
The Smoketech provided great flavor (the higher resistance did not kill the delicate flavor), but the draw was a bit stiffer.
The Boge has a really nice, smooth draw; but the flavor was not as bold and complex as with CCV's Resurrector.

Just my :2c:.

Im using the 2.0 ohm boge cartos and they are only lasting one day before they start clogging and are hard to drag off of. Am i squonking too much? I squonk when i start tasting burnt flavor.

They should never get to a burnt flavor. Keep it wet by squonking a little every 4 or 5 hits.

Using malty toffee from BWB, 70/30 vg/pg.

Well my experience has been that the following shorten carto life spans (i.e. clogging)

1. Dark Juices
2. Sweetened Juices.
3. Thick (VG) Juices.

Others have had different experiences, but these seem to have the biggest impact based on my vaping style. Canoeist is right, you shouldn't ever get the classic marshmellow or any burnt taste. Thats the beauty of the reo, you can vape for a bit then squonk up some juice and keep the carto wet. Vaping them so far down could be the issue, but I am not sure on that one. However, if you taste anything burning, then in general that means the filling is burnt. The carto goes downhill very quickly after that. Not sure if that helped, but hopefully with everyones opinion we can figure this out.

Since I read that you use Malty Toffee than that might be a GOOD reason why you don't have success with your cartomizer at this point. I've only had Malty but it's more like a 60/40 mix. The thing about it is that it's extremely thick and is slow to wick.

Also, I find that my carto seemed to get a bit dry and I had the burn't flavor even though I kept it topped off pretty often. Just for your information. You should check out this thread:

I've also contributed to this thread with comparisons of all the cartos I've owned. But, there are also carto experts in here as well that will help you with any additional issues.
