It is. I rebuilt my REO today while DH was at work. He got pissey about it but tough for him, if I kept waiting until he decided he had time it wouldn't be done for months. Turns out I am ultra picky about the exact placement of my bottle (I don't like it loose and knocking), my button (it tended to ride too low so I stuffed cotton under it). I almost called Rob in a panic when my "wafer" deformed (I just used my old one) so I am blowing clouds again. It's going to be so nice to not have to file and noalox any longer
But it is definitely a two handed job. If I had another grand I would have sent it to him and had it professionally done
Have you nailed down a ride to the eye doctor? And did you call the Dr.'s office to figure out the eye drops?

i think i'll drive to the surgery appointment since it will likely be at 6 AM. i can leave my car there and either get a ride home, take a taxi or bus, or... at my age, adventures are rare and welcome
Hello. I would like to introduce myself if you do not mind. My name is Torey, and I joined ecf a year ago. Married 30 years, a daughter, a son, 5 dogs, 4 cats, and two birds. (I know your thinking "and a partridge in a pear tree) A smoker for actually 49 years if you included the one-a-day pipe my neighbor gave me each day before his wife came home. A real smoker for 40 some years. I honestly loved smoking. Tried to quit using gums, patches, Zyban, Chantix an even stuffing cotton into straws (does anyone know how hard that really is to do?). Never thought anything could work until I discovered vaping. A Groupon offer for Premium E-Cigs. I thought what the heck. For less than a carton of cigarettes...I'll give it a try. Almost instantly, I had a ego-style kit and thought it was great. I did not mean to quit. I wanted to cut down and save some money but I did not think a little puff of tasty vapor could make me give up my beloved cigarettes. Did both for awhile until I just couldn't stand the taste of cigarettes anymore. Used up what I had (I wasn't gonna waste them) and have since be vaping what I thought was happily until today. The Reo... Grand... It was everything and more than I am capable of putting into words. My banner now pretty much says it all for me. I opened a fortune cookie this morning and very pleased. Even made me laugh. Here is what is said....
I received my rm2 yesterday (TY reosmods, super fast, quite impressed) and today I started my reo journey. I can tell you that if vaping never gets any better for me than today was.........somebody is gonna have to slap me. I am that happy. This is just the first of many pictures and they are not very good. I need to find a professional.
I look forward to chatting with ya'll if you will have me. I know I need to learn so much and I may be asking for your help. Well, that is about the best I can do to introduce myself. I'm sure later, you will find out just how adorable I am.
Just kidding. I love to have fun and to make people laugh. It's sort of what I do.

Your story is kind of like mine, I never thought these electronic thingies would do anything except help me cut down on the smokes so I maybe could stop hacking up a lung all the time. And look at us now! Ain't life GRAND?

Thank you so much and I am glad to finally be here. I was nervous almost like the first time I posted on ecf. Took me all evening to hit the post button. I am so glad to find "others" like "me".

there are a few of us who are...heck I was up at 4 am and did some catching up until about 7 before I took a power nap and then started my day. My sleep pattern is near normal now, but it didn't used to be. Late at night besides me, you'll see Dennis, Scott, and depending on the day maybe even Karen But we're all normal, you see, for round these parts anyway.

Welcome Torey! You have found a great thread here in Reovil. Some of the nicest people I've never met reside within these pages. Just be warned this thread is addictive. Kinda like Reos. Just can't get enough.
