Thank you so much and I am glad to finally be here. I was nervous almost like the first time I posted on ecf. Took me all evening to hit the post button. I am so glad to find "others" like "me".

View attachment 330893 Hello. I would like to introduce myself if you do not mind. My name is Torey, and I joined ecf a year ago. Married 30 years, a daughter, a son, 5 dogs, 4 cats, and two birds. (I know your thinking "and a partridge in a pear tree) A smoker for actually 49 years if you included the one-a-day pipe my neighbor gave me each day before his wife came home. A real smoker for 40 some years. I honestly loved smoking. Tried to quit using gums, patches, Zyban, Chantix an even stuffing cotton into straws (does anyone know how hard that really is to do?). Never thought anything could work until I discovered vaping. A Groupon offer for Premium E-Cigs. I thought what the heck. For less than a carton of cigarettes...I'll give it a try. Almost instantly, I had a ego-style kit and thought it was great. I did not mean to quit. I wanted to cut down and save some money but I did not think a little puff of tasty vapor could make me give up my beloved cigarettes. Did both for awhile until I just couldn't stand the taste of cigarettes anymore. Used up what I had (I wasn't gonna waste them) and have since be vaping what I thought was happily until today. The Reo... Grand... It was everything and more than I am capable of putting into words. My banner now pretty much says it all for me.

I opened a fortune cookie this morning and very pleased. Even made me laugh. Here is what is said....

I received my rm2 yesterday (TY reosmods, super fast, quite impressed) and today I started my reo journey. I can tell you that if vaping never gets any better for me than today was.........somebody is gonna have to slap me. I am that happy. This is just the first of many pictures and they are not very good. I need to find a professional.

I look forward to chatting with ya'll if you will have me. I know I need to learn so much and I may be asking for your help. Well, that is about the best I can do to introduce myself. I'm sure later, you will find out just how adorable I am. Just kidding. I love to have fun and to make people laugh. It's sort of what I do.

i think i'll drive to the surgery appointment since it will likely be at 6 AM. i can leave my car there and either get a ride home, take a taxi or bus, or... at my age, adventures are rare and welcome

And earlier you wanted someone else to go do the grocery shopping! Could you pick up some tea please? All you coffee junkies always forget us tea drinkers. The only way I can tolerate coffee is with spiced rum and kahlua with lots of fake sugary cream.

Evening folks or should I say good morning?? 12:51 am here in PA.

Went and got that coil gizmo thingy from Michaels tonight and just had to play with it!! Recoiled 3 RM2's and a Cyclone and figured I'd try cotton again. The coil gizmo worked ok but I'm not seeing all the hype. I can build just as good a coil and I think faster with the Dark Zero jig.

Now for the dam cotton. After all the atty's were rebuilt it was vape time. Cotton still hurts my throat a bit. Then I didn't sqounk soon enough and burnt the cotton. Nasty, nasty taste...I hate when that happens!! So out came all the cotton and re-wicked all the atty's with ReadyX. That stuff really is good!!

So new coils, new wicks and a great diy liquid made for a fairly productive evening. The great thing about the ReadyXwick is that I won't have to change it for a long time!!

Now I'm rambling so time for bed. If anyone is still here, good night.

Hey I just picked up a box of lemon ginger by Twinings that's pretty righteous....upper cupboard to the right of the fridge. There's some Tazo Calm and Earl Grey too...in the back behind the mugs. We just keep forgetting its there.

I am gonna need a very safe step stool. I don't "do" upper cupboards or "back behind" things, I am very safety oriented when it comes to nosebleed areas (that anyone over 5'2" would probably see just fine). No wonder I never knew it was there!
