Maybe he didn't hate chickens so much as was jealous of their ability to see so well..and they'd catch n peck him to pieces before he realized that they were'nt just low-floating grey clouds
Kay - don't forget the REO in the freezer
If I remember correctly, Den's fear was of the chicken AFTER it was beheaded and running amok. I doubt it saw well at all so it probably was grey clouds

Ah! The sweet mem ories! i remember as kids, my dad would chop off the heads and let them loose so we could chase them all around the yard.

Now I also remember my uncle throwing me on a big ole cow that was in it's stall, shut the gate and left me there.....
such sweet tender memories....

Well i finally took the wood out of the freezer and managed, tho it was difficult, to get the door off. But when I tried to slide it back on it sorta jammed not even halfway up, so I pried it back off...it's going for some TLC at Rob's....
