Off to Stockton, CA today to see a friend who recently moved there from SF. He's 93 and still plays golf a couple of times a week. No golf today though, way too hot, at least for me. LOL. Probably in the high 90's. Will be good to see him and get caught up. He's amazing, no medications, no cane, no nothing. However, he did have cataract surgery recently and joked afterwards that he didn't know I was white. Yep, that's the kind of day I have in store for me. Should be fun.
@Lisa - Sorry you have to let Smokey go but I'm sure you will find a good home for him. Very unselfish of the two of you to care that much. Hugs.

Getting started on today's projects...building ads and generally taking things one slow step at a time. I'm seriously loving my chair....just wanted you to know. This chair is making a huge difference....I can't be more pleased.
Once we get moved, I'll put the arms on it and snap a pic. This thing is amazing, so comfortable to work in for long periods of time.

I played this past weekend with a friends Grandfather. He's 88 years old,no cart! HE SHOT HIS AGE!!!! Couldn't believe it! God bless him! I only hope I can swing a club at 88 let alone shoot my age! Amazing!
I've never golfed, but if I live to be Methusaleh's age (969 yrs) I MIGHT be able to shoot my age!
It's been a while but I was purdy pleased with myself if I just managed to get under 100
never took it too seriously, mostly enjoyed just being out Feeling kind of tired and reluctant tonight. As we are getting close to moving, we are getting close to having to rehome our Smoki. It makes me sad...and I feel a weird sense of guilt. I've thought long and hard about it...and I know it's the right thing to do, but I feel awful for needing to do it. She's too old and has no way to climb trees, so she won't survive long where we're moving (too many predators) and I really don't want her going out like that. *sigh*
Can you convert him to be an INDOOR only cat?

We've tried...she's just not interested. She prefers going to the door and telling us when she needs to "go." She thinks litter boxes are dirty.
But the neighbor's garden is clean.

I got a feral rescue 15 years ago and for 10+ years came and went as he pleased till we moved to coyote country and he became an indoor kitty.
Took about 6 months of him yelling at me and sitting at the door; but now he is happy as a fly on s**@ indoors. We did add another feral rescue brother for company.
I know the stress this type of decision brings with the new home and move and everything. She is one beautiful regal looking cat. Best of luck with your decision.
