SCOTT Yes it sure is quiet tonight. Sitting out on the swing the moon is so bright out here. I don't know if I can wait on the eclipse that is suppose to happen this morning. Should be pretty cool though.

We in the Northeast are missing the eclipse......it'd only be partial here, as totality occurs AFTER local sunrise.....
BUT......we've got heavy rain/isolated t-storms rolling through as I type this....!!
In my 62 years I've managed to see 3 total lunar and 2 total SOLAR eclipses......so I consider myself ahead of the game re: astronomical phenomena....

Who knew the moon was behind the tall trees and could not be seen? Not me.

Started to go drive somewhere but just wasn't worth putting on clothes. Hope somebody saw it.

Too many trees around here to see. I know the moon is on the horizon somewhere, but not from my viewpoint. And I'm not going out driving looking for it either!

I looked up earlier tonight and saw a beautiful full moon. I worked in the basement most of the night and came out at quitting time to watch it go to a full eclipse. Very beautiful, I didn't even know it was going to happen. I got very lucky.

Good mornin' Reo wielders

Got released at 1800 yesterday evening, purdy much ate, watched a little TV and went to bed, both of us were tired. They went into the right artery from the left side, Doc is sure he got it opened up, apparently it was over 90% blocked, as he thought the plug actually went into the artery. So now Im a little sore on both sides and have a few more days of sittin' around to look forward to...

Missed the eclipse, probably wouldn't have seen it anyway if it was that low on the horizon...

I've been on-line shopping for hours! What started it all was the monthly flyer from the apartment office......prizes ranging from $100 to $300 off the rent!

So I think I spent around $150..so if I win 1st prize I've made money, if I win 3rd prize I'm only out $50...and my entryway will be GORGEOUS


I guess Lisa n Wayne( and Teagan and Grandpa) must finally be moving to their new home as she hasn't been here in a while. I'm dying to see the pics...and especially pics when winter comes...I bet it'll be beautiful with all those snow-covered trees!
