Hi Karen!
No, that's the reading on the thermometer. Even with the wood stove blazing, my furnace keeps kicking in.
Black Betty is very meek and unobtrusive this morning so she won't have to go outside.:)

That equipment had the right idea to quit!!!

I bet she is holding it as much as she can too! LOL!

Your furnace will get a work out with those temps. Hope you got plenty of logs ready for the stove!

On a related note...the coldest temperature in Walla Walla when I lived there was -22°....so I know your discomfort. I see the record there was -24° in 1968.

Wow! As if Walla Walla isn't already the rectum of the earth--now add subzero temperatures to boot.

I should probably go to DIY section. But, I know you guys and trust you guys..

So at MFS the lowest nic I can get is 24mg. How would I dilute that to 6mg? This is why I haven't bought from MFS and WL before. Guess I'm a little timid in the mixing category. LOL.

Happy Thursday, REOvil!

here's a juice calculator for you Matthew eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Yep yep! This is the one I use. You plug in specific information about the ingredients you have on hand, and for the final mix, you plug in your target nic strength, your target PG/VG ratio, your desired percentages of each individual flavoring, and total volume in mls, then hit "calculate" and it tell you how much of each ingredient to add. It comes with a whole bunch of recipes in a files folder and you can save your own recipes in a seperate folder, if you wish.

If you bought the 24mg nic from MFS and it was in 100% PG, you plug those numbers into the appropriate boxes and then you'd put "6" in the box for "Target Nicotine Strength". 24mg nic is very safe to work with, but if it's 100% PG, it will limit how high you can go with VG in your final mix. At 6mg, you should be fine, though.

This isn't exactly a hoppin' place during the day, is it?
I did the dishes, vacuumed, carried in wood, trimmed Betty's nails, cleaned the guinea pigs' cage and still no activity.
Its up to 10 degrees above zero outside. Veritable heat wave. Was gonna have a beer but they were in the porch room and all froze. Brought one in and waiting for it to unthaw.........foot tapping.
Edit: Ok, ok, ok I actually brought in several beers.

Well I am watching the news on TV here and find out the County Manager here, by Executive order. not by passed law, has banned ecigs from any county property. Spokesperson said we don't know whats in them and kids are using them thinking its cool. Well I guess those kids will have to switch to cigarettes. I think we should burn witches. Lets bleed someone to get the poisons out. Lets throw science out the window. Grrrr.......I'm so ....... And this Country manager looks like he weighs at least 300lbs and eats fast food way too much.

Earth for now.
I just do the tree killing different.Oh, ok...bit of a long story.

A long time ago I went hunting with my cousin and a couple other friends. We got all set up, tree stand the whole nine yards. Spent the remainder of the day huddled around the campfire talking about opening day, the brand new scope I had placed upon my shotgun as an attempt to fix my eye dominance problem and the standard campfire chat. In the morning well before it was light we all headed out to out spots and started the hunt.

Just about light enough to shoot and I hear all kinds of stuff start moving behind me. About ten minutes later I have a doe and a nice buck walk in about 20 yards away, so I pull up on the doe who was leading and think to myself, dang I do this right I am done for this year. I take aim through that spiffy new scope, let the first slug go and immediately take aim on the buck. Blam! Now that is how ya do that there.

Excitement sets in and I can no longer contain it so I climb down from the stand and head to where the doe trail should begin, no sign what so ever. Hmm, well I guess I have a look over here where the buck trail should be...NOTHING. What the...? So I go back to where there should be blood for the doe and still nothing. About that time I decide I better climb back up and look at that sight picture again. Climb up the tree, get set just like I was pulling the trigger and what do I see?

Yep you guessed it a tree branch, not a normal little branch but this branch about four inches in diameter hanging, but still attached and clearly I was the cause. Frustrated I go back to camp and get laughed at by everyone when I tell my story. After dinner, a large number of beers and the coldest night I have been in hunting. My cousin and I decide to sleep in the SUV so that we can head out for home and work when we woke. The next morning I get up head out to relieve myself and upon return to the vehicle I see the very same branch strapped to the roof, like you would your prize kill, and every last one of the guys laughing. They made me ride all the way home with the damn thing strapped to the roof too.

Needless to say the nickname was born and stuck.

Hi everyone and i wish i could share my weather with everyone who is freezing. It was in the 80s for a few days but now it is down in the 60s for a few days then back to 80s again. My Azaleas are blooming and got some roses blooming also.

In puppy news i am so frustrated with rain because the pups hate it and even refuse to go out in a light drizzle :( I hope they get used to it soon!!!

I did find this video to amuse myself with even though it is hard to believe :)

This is scary chicken stuff.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
did you do his training by yourself? They are awesome animals because of their intelligence and strength.

Yep did it all by myself. Very different than dogs. Have to be very strong with him. I had to do the submit to start then I had to make him submit to me. I hate dog hair in my mouth but it's taken many bites from me to him to get him aligned in the pack. Gatlin growls at him now but Simba still wants Gatlin to be equalish  but they are both meshing well.
