I'm always in delay mode when it comes to going to the store. Shoot I do good to go once a month anymore  I'm getting good at noticing when my daughter-n-law gets in car (lives next door) and I shoot her a phone call that goes like this:
Me:..."hey watcha doing"
DNL:..."going to the store"
Me:..."Oh! could you get me.....this....and this.....shoot here's my list"
DNL:....."ok but you owe me"
Me:....."ok, snickers, I owe you"
DNL:...."Mmmmm"

Seems like I'll be owing her a lot and maybe one of these days she'll ask me to pay up, but I seriously doubt it.

I have an app for that called "out of milk". It allows me to make my list and text it to DH. I got sick of him getting the wrong thing :D

It also allows me to put in what I have in my pantry so I don't buy anything thinking I might not have it (good for spices and stuff).

I love that app!

Back from the store. It actually went very smoothly.

I visited my first vape store. THere are very few around here. It was fun. I got to talk to the owner (nice fellow) and I never get to talk with anyone about vaping because no one I know vapes. I showed him my Woodvil and he was amazed. He had never heard of bottom feeding and it took a bit for the concept to sink in. He said that was the greatest thing he's ever seen in vaping and is going to check out Reos site. I gave him the address. He mostly had ego types and sold juice but he was using some regulated boxes with tanks on them. He said he had vape meets monthly so I'll keep in touch.

I was supposed to go grocery shopping yesterday, but ran other errands instead. And since both my brothers cancelled on me, and only a couple of friends are coming for dinner I am going to make due with what I have on hand. I don't wanna go!!!

I went to our local vape shop. They have mechs from the Phillipines they keep under lock and key like they are so special! And the new Kangers! Which is a step up from the cheap ego kits they used to sell. They see absolutely no value or use for my REO (people like things they can put in their pocket and vape easily) and don't understand the concept of bottom fed dripping at all (they like dripping but it is too messy). I have tried to show them, but they OWN 4 STORES NOW so are the ultimate authority and know much more than I ever will about a great vape and tanks are IT. I even talked about juice with them, and they don't need recipes because it is all so easy. They looked at me like I was insane when I told them my juice has 8 different components and I would be lost without my recipe. The names for both their store and the "very popular juice line that will be premiering soon" are stolen from other vendors.

I wish our local B&M was more supportive, but they have a business to run and don't need to have competition hanging out in their stores. They've never said as much to me, but the owner did say he hates all bottom feeders and doesn't care how well or not they work for me. He's just not interested...says they leak and fail all the time and not worth the breath to share with others. So as you can imagine, I have curbed my support. Get looked at funny and over all made to feel uncomfortable when I'm there anymore. I just forgot that for some, its about business, not about getting the best vape out there. They've made other changes that I don't like either, so all in all...they're great for getting starter kits, but not much else anymore.

Hi Reonauts!

I have 2 Reos, so technically I'm one of you, although I spend more time in the ProVari sub-forum. We just got a notice that as part of ECF's reorganization our sub-forum will be closed, not the ProVape supplier forum, but the ProVari forum up in the APV section. We are trying to figure out if it just applies to our "Saloon" thread, which is much like your lounge, or the entire APV section. We are also trying to understand if we could keep the Saloon if ProVape will host it, like Reo hosting your lounge, or if everything social will have to become a group. It would be nice if they gave up more info.

Have you been contacted about this?

When the HHV Tobacco Big Thread was relocated about a year ago, it was moved to the Social Groups Sub-Forum.
Maybe we'll all wind up there someday....

I PM retired1 and he said the whole APV Model Specific section would going to be phased out. Owners or potential owners will be directed to ask questions in the ProVape supplier forum or in the APV Variable Voltage section (that should be a hoot!).

I doubt you will be affected since he also said that "non-product" related threads (huh? Is that what we are?) may be hosted by a supplier if they choose to do so, otherwise they have to move to Groups. I checked out HHV's group and it's not as bad as I thought. I was under the impression it was just a thread, but it's a sub-forum with stickies!

When the threads in the ProVari forum kept getting locked for straying off topic, I asked ProVape for a social sticky like your Lounge, but they never responded. A few of us petitioned the mods and that's how we got the Saloon in the first place. In the current situation, my concern is people being able to find the group. Perhaps ProVape will give us a sticky with a link.

That would be the best resolution. With Rob it is much easier, as it is he himself rather than a company. Do you know who at ProVape is in charge of the forum stuff? You would think they would want you all posting as it keeps them in the activity stream which is like free ads ;)

I'm not seeing how a social group would work any differently to how things do now. Threads will still be closed if there is a breach of ECF rules, so whether you have your own group moderators or not will make no difference.

It's also rather counter-intuitive for a new member to hunt for a social group, rather than a supplier or mod-specific group like Reo or Provari.

But whaddo i no?

A lot.

I tried to point out a few obvious things like that. I give up. Meh.

That's the part I don't get. I can see model specific forums being redundant when it comes to matters like technical questions when there is a manufacturer forum in place. It seems to make sense only having one place to ask questions and search for information on that level. In the case here the split in usage between the supplier forum and the model specific forum in along the lines of 99.9% to 0.01%. But with Provari the split is more like 50/50. Lot's of technical Q&A in your model specific forum, along with all the social stuff.

Do you think ProVape is that off putting that they wouldn't allow social chat threads in the supplier forum? Has that been an issue in the past? Ultimately they have veto power, but I guess the only way to know how they feel about it is to start the threads up and see what happens. If they are allowed it would be a lot easier for new peeps to join in than to search for a social group. If for whatever reason they get closed then there's your answer: social group it will have to be.

One other point that nerak brought to my attention: When you have a split supplier forum and also a model specific forum or a social group, your supplier cannot reply to technical or customer service questions put up in model forums or social groups. Just something to consider.

On the other hand since the Provari users are hunting for a name for a group, we could turn into West Side Story; the PUGS and the RUGS - Provari Users Group, Reo Users Group.

My thoughts on the matter are that we rather miss the wider point which is that everyone on ECF, regardless of their device is (or has managed) quitting cigarettes. I just don't think that hiding 2 of the best regarded means for doing so in social groups is the best way to help them.

I like it. You could start a new thread with that title. Pugs and Rugs. I've got both. Some will go a bit overboard on theirs. I've never seen a Reo owner rant and rave over their's.
"What's that?"
It's a bottom feeder, called a Reo
Oh cool.
Next one is
What's that?
A provari. I ain't spending that much money on nothing.
Cool with me. So you like your....................fill in the blank.
It's the best thing ever.
More power to ya and vape on.
What should I buy?
Whatever you want to. Be happy and please yourself. Not others.

Any idea of when the woodvills will go up for sale.
Got to try and see a doctor tomorrow. Being sick is no fun, no fun at all.

You're still sick? Go see that doctor and i hope you get better soon....

On the bright side, the sale is tomorrow at 7pm Eastern. :D
