ETA: but the more I look at it, the more I think yours is a bit different and "curly". And now I think yours is much nicer, but don't tell DH

Yours is a Curly Maple Val. Similar look but not quite when you look up close. The Curly Oak has a vertical curly lines and a horizontal wave pattern. The Curly Maple has the horizontal waves and the straighter lines in the vertical pattern.

When you put them up like that is obvious

All I know is they are really pretty when you find the perfect place to put it so the light reflects just right

Nice to see you here so late. I got a cocobolo, and a purple heart tonight. They are so different from the other woods I have. Well, that and I needed a mini and and 18490 because I just had to know the differences in size by feel. And purple was a must have

DH couldn't understand why I wanted them when I can't even use all the ones I have, cuz you can only use one at a time. It's obvious to me why. I just can't understand why he doesn't get it when he loves his so much? I asked him if he wanted to look at them so we could get him another, and he said, "But I have one?"

I was thrilled that the electricity didn't get knocked out, the rain actually stopped long enough to catch up on the flood and the ones I wanted didn't get snagged by someone else.

I am getting slap happy, I have been up since 0300 watching the rain, and DH fell asleep

That rain and flooding looked like a nightmare! So glad you did get in on the sale. Nothing quite like picking, ordering, and waiting for the package to arrive! Then when you take it out of the box and hold it.........well it is such a rush!

Awww... I am....just been messing around with an avatar. Going down to the property tomorrow, we've got heavy equipment coming tomorrow so we have to move a few things around to make room for them. Going to be messy with the recent snow, rain and incoming storm. I love me some exciting weather. I hope you are well....keeping busy? Don't want you going stir crazy.

Thank You Val but I feel bad that I have two doors when others have only one so like I stated when the opportunity arises I will pass on the door to another REOnaut in need. I think I might surprise the wife with her own REO mini for my birthday (weird right?) plus it will give me a chance to order the upgraded contacts and grab a RM2.

Congratulations!!! It's great that you two can plan for another day, when some people would just suffer disappointment and regret.

My wife and I married while I was in the Marine Corps. if we didn't learn to be flexible quickly it would have cause a lot of unneeded stress quite quickly, but we both understand its not the actual date that is most important but the love and time spent together.

The way the mountains form "v" here can make climate changes even just a few miles away. It's quiet now, but we are expecting it to start up again any time.

Did they show what is going on here where you are? I realize it is nothing like the snow and cold you guys get!

I don't have cable and don't watch the local stations that are broadcast. But I check the Weather Channel to see what all is happening.

I also visit stations in an area where things are bad. I search and always find that gives me the best viewing.

... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late Saturday night
through Monday afternoon...

* hazard types... heavy snow and ice.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches is expected... along
with around a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... a mix of sleet and freezing rain is expected Saturday
night into Sunday before a period of significant snow is
expected Sunday afternoon into Monday.

* Impacts... significant amounts of snow and sleet along with
layer of ice will be possible... resulting in hazardous roads
and reduced visibilities. Travel Sunday into Monday will be
impacted.

I am quite well Lisa. I love it here, even with the cold. I gear up and spend hours outside, mostly looking out for the kids. (I think they're immune to the cold) Strong community here. Tomorrow is the winter carnival with a 1000 ft slide on main street for the kiddies. Next week, myself and some new friends are taking a trolley-style bus on a 4 stop tour. (Starters and drinks, entrees, desserts, drinks and a band) at 4 of the top restaurants in the area.

I sure would love a crack operating your heavy equip. I bet it will be a blast. And I'm off to bed. Night all!

It sounds like you have your priorities in a relationship right

Rob sells (or did anyway) doors separately, and people just buy doors to "play dress up". Well, I did anyway

If you really don't want the door I am sure you could find someone who would love to have it, but you might want to just wait a bit and see how it works out. DH likes his all black, where I like color. And wood
